"Fabio’s is a beautiful Italian restaurant. it felt as if we entered a place in the heart of italian. very friendly staff, whose service was wonderful. so many appetizing dinge to choose on the large menu. I finally decided to cook the seafood pasta, which is so tasteful and tasty served with a good part of the seafood garne, calamari, garnel and muddle in the dish in a beautiful garlic creamy Pomodoro sauce. the portion size was also much larger than you would normally get. my nabebie had the biggest calzone pizza he had ever. he also enjoyed his calzone, which was not only full of ingredients, but full of taste. would definitely recommend fabio if they love to eat Italian! they also have a very large wine list to choose from."

"Where to start, an absolute GEM of a place in the cultural heritage Centre of Hermanus. Owners Endria and Johan cook up an absolute storm with a small kitchen, small menu and quaint little cozy restaurant. Quality produce, made to order, delicious flavours. I ate Springbok carpaccio for starters which came in round slices, absolutely delicious with Chef Johan putting his own twist on the dish. For main I had the seafood masalla curry, which I cannot recommend enough. Full of fish, calamari, mussels and packed with masala curry flavour with a hint of coconut at the end. I tasted the ribeye, 400g, beautifully cooked and basted and soft as butter. The seafood platter for one is more than enough to feed any 1 person. Now the ambiance, absolutely brilliant. The chef and owners explain the menu and walk around the restaurant. The waiters are brilliantly trained knows the menu by heart. It's a small restaurant and we interacted with tables around us which was an awesome experience. Of you are in Hermanus, looking for good food, take my word. Café 1904 is competing for the top restaurant in Hermanus."

"By far one of the best breakfasts we have eaten near capetown and hermanus. It is stunningly delicious and after delivery to our table we were breathless. Fantastic, delicious, right at the point. "The views from the deck of La Vierge are breath-taking. You can literally see Hemel en Aarde and the sea in the distance. It's beautiful. Their platters also looked exceptional. (We didn’t order one as we just had breakfast in town. <br/ <br/ Sadly, the wine didn't suit our palettes, which was a bit of a disappointment. But seeing that wine tasting is something entirely subjective, I'm still giving them a 4 star review. Our sommelier was very knowledgeable about the wines and we still had an enjoyable experience. That view really is worth it."

"Delicious little dinner with an absolutely beautiful view over Hermanus old port. The best I ate in a while was a starter called Japanese Easter, absolutely delicious (photo attached) I also had the sweet and acidic hake that was delicious, not perfect, but very interesting and delicious. My wife had the salt and pepper Calamari, which was crunchy, fresh and well seasoned. Accompanied by delicious cocktails it was a great dinner with good service. Light on the expensive side, but it is a great place for a date night with beautiful views and absolutely friendly staff. Update took visitors and family for the Japanese oysters, still the best in the city. I went in and had oysters, I just had to share goodness. Thanks for the good quality and interesting turn to an already delicious oyster. The regular oysters are also delicious, sweet and fresh. I'm always in Hermanus. You're ready"

"South African pizza is usually thin crust, and that was a great example that made it good. Toppings were generous, the base tasty with large structure, and there was not too much cheese. We had take, and the service when picking up was really friendly. Even better we were given small pots of fresh garlic, chilli and some salad dressing to add our pizza and salad. Very recommended if you are in the area. We will definitely go back next time we're in Hermanus."

"Delicious food, with a relaxing atmosphere at the perfect pace. Micklem, our waiter was friendly and attentive. Rob, the manager was very welcoming and made us feel like locals even though we’re visiting from Ireland. There’s so much attention to detail here, everything is done exceptionally. It’s a must visit if in Hermanus. Will definitely come back next time we visit."
