"We placed an order with Qmin via Uber Eats and somehow unknown to us the address had not populated correctly. We didn't think to look as we had food delivered a few days earlier via uber eats with no issue. Anyway our food did not...arrive so we called the resturant, it turned out that due to the address issue the driver could not find our address (shock). The driver called through the uber app but due to the phone believing this to be sales calls, they were blocked so we didn't even get a notification. We just thought the food was late. I felt awful for the resturant as they had cooked the food and it wasn't their fault they couldn't deliver to us however equally I had paid for food that I hadn't received. The resturant kindly agreed to make us some fresh food if we went and collected it. The resturant provided us with not only excellent food but an outstanding service and took an annoying and frustrating experience and made it a good one. Thank you Qmin "

"We visited this pub in March 2019 and had a nice meal approx. 3 weeks before it fell food hygiene evaluation from a 5 to 1 and we had a nice meal. we decided to go back yesterday to see if the pees were so good and we were surprised to be the only people there who eat. we had a Sharing-Platter-Starter that was ok, some parts love others not like that, but the pub proud of its dead. we had both chickens, ham and rag cake and it was nice, hot and fresh. my hubby had chips and I had maic, both hot and very tasty. it's a pity that the food hygiene rating diners is driving away and I hope they sort their problems. I will not eat anywhere in the rule a food hygiene assessment lower than a 4 but I am glad that I took a chance because I these cakes are amazing!"

"Appalling service, waited 45 minutes to place a drinks order then had to request to place the food order only to be told by the waitress that the manager had instructed her to clear the empty table next to us. Wasn't asked if additional drinks were needed and that resulted in one 200ml of drink was consumed al evening!!! Trying to get the wait staff attention was difficult. The 2 chefs worked non stop, the Young waitress was blamed by the manager on duty when we raised concerned, totally ruined evening and for a first visit won't be returning or recommend to anyone."

"Went for mothers day at 1pm and the place was full and busy, but the atmosphere was great and staff were all fantastically attentive, polite and relaxed.. nothing felt stressed which is really important. Our drinks orders were taken promptly and delivered to table very quickly. The food here though was divine! By far the best roast dinner I've eaten out anywhere, ever. The lamb shank was cooked and seasoned to perfection and the accompanying vegetables were amazing and there was loads to go round all 8 of us. I've never had a decent cauliflower cheese/bake out on a Sunday in a restaurant, its always huge chunks of hard cauliflower in a tiny amount of water cheese sauce but this was exceptional... home cooked and full of sauce and flavour. I can't knock this place one bit, the whole experience was outstanding. So much so we tried to book for Christmas Day,! :"
