"Since I was staying at the Resort over the weekend, I had ample opportunity to eat at Kapi Restaurant. Dishes I liked Tandoori Chicken, Fries, Papaya Juice, Club Sandwich, Breakfast Omelette, Breakfast Vada My first meal here was a disappointment. The service was pathetic. I made a point to discuss my experience with resort operation manager and restaurant manager. I had hoped next day breakfast would have more variety. It was only a mess of service. Dishes I didn't like Masala Calamari, Seafood Pasta, Breakfast Dosa, Brownie ice cream. We did enjoy on the house evening snacks because of the lack of the focus of the staff(again). And from this time they made things better."

"Small n hidden out place besidws the big giant neighbours.<br/>We went looking out food, mainly vegetarian late afternoon and found this place after being dejected by the menu limitations we got from La Pizzeria's famous neighbours.<br/>The place is pretty basic....not showiness.<br/>Menu is mainly Italian.<br/>Not so crowded.<br/>We ordered for pasta in red sauce whuch i must say was yummy.<br/>The pasta in pesto sauce was good too.<br/>We also ordered Pizza Margarita and a Caramelised Banana for dessert which too were decent.<br/>It was much more better foodwise than we expected. <br/>The food is worth the money though it looked understaffed but they were able to manage the customers that were there that time.<br/>Overall i loved it n would like to say its worth a try."

"Went to this restaurant on 5th Jan for lunch. The place is awesome. An ideal place to relax on a Sunday. Eli comes to the table with all the items she can serve you for the day. Good taste good and really homely. Served beer.<br/>The portions were decent. The prawns was lovely. 3 little more than medium sized prawns came with Chattichooru. At Rs 600 we felt it was over priced.<br/>We ordered a fish curry meal, beef cutlet, pork , chicken Biryani, pasta veg , non beg pizza and vattappam with mutton stew. We enjoyed the food and the experience.<br/>Like I mentioned before the price is slightly high. However, hats off to Eli who does the cooking herself and she ensures we get home cooked fresh food."

"I absolutely love this place. Quirky ambience and a good menu. Pocket friendly food in generous quantities. Egg fried rice, veg noodles and veg cheese grilled sandwich were three dishes we ordered and was completely filling although sandwich is something I wouldn't recommend you to order. Welcoming staff and fast service. Good music. Gives you real beach feels."

"For us students of Great Lakes living in the middle of nowhere, this place comes the closest to a good restaurant. Their burgers are pretty good, esp. Chicken and cheese. The red sauce pasta is good, white pasta not so much. Dragon chicken a must have, momos far too pricey. Pizzas are good one day, average the next. All in all, I give them an extra half in 3.5 on 5 purely on sentimental value."

"Among all the restaurants in the eat street of mahabalipuram, this stand unique by the homely feel, calm lights and warm music. The service was quite late but you didn't actually feel bored up. especially food stands out in the taste. Good to try all sea platters. They have all board games and interesting games as well. This will be my one of the favorite here in this beach city"
