"Take the cable car up and hike down to this gem of a restaurant you will want to have worked up an appetite for this delicious food! We sat on the patio with our dog, watching the sun set. The three dumpling sampler was wonderful, and the trout was some of the best we have ever had. Our server was a consummate professional, and the chef/owner Stefan came out to personally thank us for our business. The entire team made us Americans feel welcome and warmly fed. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough and will return."

"My friends tried to persuade me not to write about this hut. Hut is actually too inadequate a word to describe this eagle nest cradled within the highest peaks of the Dolomites. The view from the hut is unbelievable, the food is excellent and the service is first quality. Even on a crowded day. Sitting on a bench in the terrace sipping warm coffee or enjoying a pint of beer is one of the most beautiful treats I have spoiled myself with these last 15 years. I try to go every year, especially in the winter, a sort of pilgrimage of the heart. It is not to share with many, this is to be kept a secret for a lucky few. This is why my friends don't want me to tell the world about it."

"Tried this place at random and were very happy. They were a bit rushed when we arrived, and so it took about 5 minutes to get a table, and another 10 to be served, but when we did the service was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and very well priced. Note their opening hours (open for lunch from 11am to 2pm). We ended up ordering at five minutes to closing, and there were no issues."

"The Laerchen hut is one of our favourite huts in Sexten. Halfway down the run to Sexten it is nicely located with a sun covered terrace. Every year the food they serve seems to be getting better and better. The Hüttenbrot and pasta’s are great but the Apfelstrudel is really amazing. Can‘t wait to come back."

"We just wanted to Back-country ski on a sunny Saturday but after a couple of hours it was hard to not stop right in front of the Bistrot for reserving a romantic 2 seater hood/solid/engraved table. Astonishing architecture nicely integrated with the land and the local environment, the Bistrot is also well known for his Chef Christian, Kate the Boss), Katalin, Julia, Greta, Ida and Patz, the perfect team for the perfect guests to get amused with hangus burgers we had those really rear) and related spicy deeps, roasted local wild potatoes or Sud Tirol gourmet dishes or amazing deserts. Bottom line : we 'll go back next week hoping the snow 'll be still good, if not, no problem, the Bistrot-quality-time-food and friendly atmosphere it ' ll be more then fine ! Matteo Petra Bof"
