"Really disappointed visiting here. Upon arrival with 3 young children and the restaurant half empty. We had to find a member of staff to ask whether we seat ourselves or get seated. We were then directed to sit out in the foyer (in the cold) whilst they got a table ready. Almost 10 minutes later, we were then directed to a table to then be asked to order using the QR code on the table, before the member of staff then disappeared. The salad bar has always been self service, and the soft drinks are also the same. Pretty much the only actual service we had was them bringing our food over. Annoyingly, whilst eating, a couple came in to the restaurant and asked for a table, they were seated inside to wait, rather than out in the cold. Food quality was great, can't knock that at all but we won't be returning to this restaurant."

"Four of us went last night to eat at 6.30 service was great, the menu was extensive and the eating itself was great! two of our tables had a pasta court, a steak and a chicken dish. all were well presented and perfectly cooked. we will definitely go back there, it was a great experience, thank you."

"Second visit in the last two months. Fantastic and authentic cuisine. Very passionate chef. Tells you all about the dishes. How they were made where they originate from. Listens to customers and will add things to the menu. Dipping sauce with dough balls and a delicious plumb tart. Can’t wait to go again. Mouthwatering. Definitely worth a visit."

"Early Christmas lunch with family. Pub was decorated lovely, very welcoming. Staff were very efficient and helpful. Service very quick. 99% of food was spot on, bit of an issue with one dish which was taken off the overall bill. Staff Very apologetic , very concerned, however did not spoil the day. Would definitely recommend this place to others and will be going back again.Many thanks to the all girl team, well done."

"We've loved this place for years but may now be looking for a new Italian place to eat at. The portion sizes have decreased massively to the point we ordered sides this time as well. Also, prices have risen quite significantly (and yes I know they have everywhere) but when the pasta is the same dried pasta I can buy in a supermarket, £10 for a dish with a bit of sauce, cheese, mushrooms and ham is expensive when there's not much of it. Service was lacking with the table being cleared whilst people were still eating. This could have been forgiven if the place was rammed but it wasn't. I was surprised to be able to ring on a Friday night and get a table for 15 minutes later but after our visit, I can see why. Sorry San Remo but you're not what you once were!"

"Great food! No mummicks. when entering it does not look as much as compared to other local restaurants. it's quite small and you could say that the decor is maybe dated. but if they sit down, they realize that the facility added to us feel like we really were in a small restaurant in italy. also the personal and the atmosphere created there were fantastic. for an hour we really felt like on holiday in italien, in a small caffe on a side street. la lupa doesn't try to be everything it isn't. perfect authentic Italian cuisine and it was delicious. in any case it will make our regular weekend. very fair. brilliant."
