"We were here with two people to the ski run and are flashed:)the historic house is beautiful and our room was the hammer. beautifully large, furnished with rustic old furniture and great views of the location of the hotel is only a minute away from the parking place ratschert, making it an ideal starting point for hiking and skiing. the personal extremely friendly and courteous.We missed nothing and we will definitely come back"

"Stunning decor , brilliant location, very picturesque surroundings . It was quiet , so you could soak in the ambiance . I've noticed someone has posted that the lasagna was phenomenal. Yes it was ...... not in a good way. It was disgusting . What Italian cooks lasagna with layers of ham and cheese and no Bolognese sauce? It was a moussaka dish minus the aubergine with pasta instead . Considering it was an authentic restaurant with Italian staff, Shame on you for serving this and destroying an Italian national dish. Anyone who enjoys it, has no taste"

"My wife and I stopped here with our dog (which was very welcome) last Saturday on our way into The Black Forest. The greeting was warm, menu comprehensive (usual pastas, pizzas etc) and the good came up quickly and hot...also massive portions!! All in all...for what it is, we had a lovely time there and will go back with the dog"

"Wir haben hier kürzlich einen kurzen Zwischenstopp gemacht, der sich gelohnt hat. Das Restaurant gehört zu den Naturparkwirten im Schwarzwald. Das heißt, es werden überwiegend regionale Lebensmittel verarbeitet. Das war eindeutig zu schmecken. Kässpätzle und Brandenberger Bratwurst waren sehr ordentlich und die Portionen ausgesprochen groß. Leider war nicht Zeit für mehr. Denn die Wild- und Forellengerichte sahen auf den Tellern der Nachbarn prima aus."
