"LUIGI'S restsurant uses REAL SALAMI AND REAL PEPPERONI SAUSAGE....ALSO REAL MOZZARELLA CHEESE FOR THEIR PIZZAS! Wonderful flavor, due to the use of first class authentic ingredients, not the tasteless lunch meat and Mexican white cheese used by the other pizza restaurants in Valladolid. The restaurant...is open only for dinner and unfortunately in not close to the center of town...but worth seeking out. Besides pizza, they also,have pasta, salads and other things to offer...but their pizza is their strength....GO..YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY,."

"This art gallery cum bar and restaurant is set on 2 different levels in the back for an al fresco dinner. Pretty tasty food including a couple of yucatecan specialties. Makes a nice dining experience cuz they always have live entertainment.Alone, in duo or as a group, this is a good choice.Not fancy but a mid-priced meal.200 pesos for meal, 2 drinks and top."

"I loved this restaurant and the surroundings. Situated on a lovely square by the iglesia Candelaria sits this little gem. I was in Valladolid 6 days and ate here three evenings! (the other evenings I was out on tours or I would have done 5 evenings!) The ambiance is wonderful, the interior decorating is sweet and the food is yummy. How can it get even better than that? I'm just sorry they aren't open in the daytime too - I loved their coffee as well!"

"The best restaurant I experienced in my ENTIRE stay in Yucatan. Worth it for the intense ambiance alone, but the food is top-notch as well; variations on traditional Mayan fare for a cultural experience (the skirt steak was perfecto). If you are an aesthete and take a lot of energy from art and color, your eyes will never rest as you dine surrounded by incredible neo-Mayan paintings and murals, rugged stonework food service, lush foliage, lantern-lit cave walls open to the starry sky and rich wood textures everywhere. The service was excellent, like most of the Yucatan; polite and careful. Just do it and thank me later!"
