"The above address is not correct any longer. The Antica Roma has moved into the town centre, Hühnerstraße 4, Xanten. It is wonderful to have them so much closer and in walking distance if you are close to the market and the heart of Xanten. The interior is rather elegant, a bit "cool", far from being kitschy. In the summer you can sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine. The food is excellent, very authentic, some combinations of ingrediants are unusual, but definitely tasty. Much more than pizzas and pasta to expect."

"We were on holiday in Rees, and have visited đann in Xanten, the Roman excavation site/museum, after which you get a good hunger. That's what we've been doing here in the harbour restaurant. Attention, with great food. And the view on the terrace, just madness. Will definitely go back."
