"Tapas was absolutely delicious. the olives were full of taste, the chicken was crispy and juicy. the part of the aubergine was huge. the only disappointing court was patatas bravas. I also liked the service: the waitress brought some fresh bread and water, great place overall!"

"An amazing tapas place with a beautiful ambience inside and out. The ex dairy sirloin steak and iberica pork were amazing. The stuffed quail was good, too, although I preferred the other meats. I've never had manchego cheese as soft as the one here. You also can't skip the jamón croquetas they are small but so delicious. And the ensalada tomate was unlike anything I've ever had it's a must try if you're after unique dishes, although I'd recommend getting it with the bread as I think the bread helps balance it. I wasn't wowed by the spritz cocktail like I was by the food, but that didn't deter me at all. We would 100% go back. Prepare to spend over £100 for a meal for two (we got slightly too much food and two drinks and spent £170), but it's worth it! I definitely see how it got a Michelin star. One thing I'd fix is getting comfier chairs the stools don't have backs which can be a little uncomfortable."

"I visited the olive shed on a warm mid-dart evening. I was just in bristol for a night and don't know the city, so it was just aimless. the harbour area has a great mood, with people hanging out and the olive shed is in the middle. I was sitting outside, no problem I was taking up. I ordered the calamari, who was among the best I had, patstas bravas made by someone who knows where the paprika jack is held and a divine piece of slowly boiled lamb with them belt and garnet seed. beautiful meal, great location and fabulous staff. highly recommended."

"This was my second time eating here. The choice of dishes was very good because there are some unusual dishes which are not the same as standard tapas places. Presentation was lovely, and there were several vegetarian options as well as quail for those who like game. The restaurant has been innovative, in having a different country for a theme week, and this week being the week of the Olympics, the country theme was Brazil. They had a wonderful coconut pudding for dessert as well as crepe suzette. I especially recommend the prawns, the scallops dish, the aubergines, the artichoke dish and paella. The main let-down of the place, was the poor organisation, however this happens so often at so many other places, due to the poor training of staff. The waitress got our order wrong, then when she realised, we waited for over an hour for all of our meal to arrive, while we sat watching everyone else who arrived after us, getting their meal before us. To give her credit, she was apologetic and took off some of the cost of our drinks from the bill. The staff were not apathetic to their duties, but I think they were just overwhelmed, with a full restaurant. Note to the manager/owner: get some professional help initially, to improve organisation and communication with the kitchen, and put on at least one extra waitress for Saturday night and when fully booked. The restaurant is quite small, so booking is essential. Well worth a visit if you can be prepared for a few glitches."
