"You have to go here for the tapas, if not the view. Just opened 2 weeks ago by, yes, would you believe, husband and wife (I think! Zach and Eli, a lovely French couple. We called here by chance whilst walking the promenade in the January sunshine and were taken aback by the quality of the French/Spanish tapas freshly created by Zach on site and served by Eli. Tapas with a French twist, the flavours were amazing and the prices so unbelievably low we felt guilty when paying the bill!! If all you want is a late morning/lunchtime snack when saving yourselves for the big evening meal, then this is the place to head for on the Estepona promenade with a table overlooking Gibraltar, the Atlas Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea!"

"Prior to Covid we stayed in the area regularly and dined here regularly. This was our first time back in the area since 2019 and visited Don Juan's twice on our trip and it did not let us down as it was as good as we remembered Cannot say enough on the food, great fresh quality ingredients cooked to perfection. The first night I had the fillet steak medium rare which was excellent and my knife went through it like butter. On the second visit I had the mixed skewer this was my favourite meal.of the trip, steak pork and chicken cooked to perfection. My wife had a selection of tapas on both occassions including pork medallions, meatballs, chorizo, potatas bravas etc and again they were plentiful with good quality ingredients cooked well. Staff were extremely helpful and on our last night I left my Ray Bans in the restaurant, I called them at 23.45 and a staff member answered and said yes they were there and agreed to wait 10 minutes for my return to collect them even though they finished at 23.00. We were leaving early the next morning so would not have been able to collect then. Many thanks to the staff for their honesty and patience Therefore on food and staff they are both 5/5."

"Tried to eat here tree times the last week. First week it was full and the waitress meant we could wait for a table. We waited for 45 minutes only to be told the kitchen was closed and there would be no more food. The second and third time we were met with a sign saying «Hoy Cerrado/Today Closed» despite the FB page and homepage and Tripadvisor all saying the place should be open. A bad joke."

"This place is excellent. The food is lovely and our waiter was great. The gazpacho tomato soup was really fresh and cooling. I had the mixed dish platter which came with the best calamari I've ever had. I would definitely go here again."
