"My friend and I went to Tapas at Embrujo for my birthday dinner on Wednesday, November We were the only couple there at pm, hence the place to ourselves; at least for a half hour until another couple showed. I had made...reservations in advance; but no need to in hind sight. The place was deserted. That would have been a clue to either so,so food or for food prices had we walked into the establishment off the street. It was extremely pricey for food that was sparse and just okay (except for one tapas- the angus beef with a mustard sauce and frites that was delicious for Two of the Tapas that we tried to order off the menu were not available that day. The feature Tapas of Serrano, very high quality ham was off-the-charts' and over-the-top' priced for paper-thin tataki-style' inch long slices of ham! DO NOT BOTHER ORDERING this TAPAS!!! The main dish of Seafood Paella was okay; but on the salty side which took away from the flavor. Overall, we were both dissatisfied and disappointed with our meal and experience over all- both food and price."

"We had a group of 7 and the restaurant sat us right away, service was fast, excellent recommendations and high quality food. Staff was friendly, funny and professional, making the meal feel upscale but at reasonable prices. Setting is awesome right in the river and many sites to see all around. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Bend!"
