"Closest you'll get to Spain in Vancouver. Not 100% authentic but good enough. Nice atmospheric room. Gambas al ajillo the highlight. Pulpo, calamares, and charcuterie not the best but my expectations were not high anyway, i understand the difficulty of sourcing the right ingredients. Paella ok, but still not Spain. Tortilla Española same rating as the paella. Friendly service from Maria from Marbella and Caitlin from Saskatoon. Despite the shortcomings, this is as Spanish as it gets in Vancouver, so it'll do. Will be back."

"I've gone by this place so many times and never thought to look inside because the blinds are always turned! It's a vibe in there, for sure but space is tight so I recommend getting a reso.Food was served tapas (small plates) style and was absolutely fresh delicious. The pork neck was my favourite. Second favourite was the eggplant which was seasoned nicely. The octopus was also cooked to perfection.We were only 2 people so we got full fast. I recommend bringing friends and going as a group of 3 or 4 to try more things and more seafood."

"It is one of the best authentic Spanish Tapes and seafood dishes outside North Spain , Bilbao , happy to say I got invited to my Spanish friend's Dad 90 Birthday at the Bodega on Main Street , large group , over 20 people , the area is scuzzy , and unassuming entrance , ambiance very intimate with cozy leather Banquettes seating , and two floors dining , little too noisy for me , looks menu already per set , of course it is Spanish restaurant , to night seafood is the game ! excellent real Spanish dishes , wonderful dishes like Grilled Octopus , and the Baby squid , also the Paella Mixta amazing flavour with so much variety seafood well balance with the sauce and ingredients , incredible taste a classic dishes and I loved Seafood like music in my year , it is a privilege to have a lovely Spanish food in Vancouver truly amazing dinner experienced I had , Service very professional very dedicated to customer real hidden gens for Spanish cuisine , for sure I will bring my family here for their Paella Mixta ! so if you looking for a great Spanish Restaurant in Vancouver , Bodega is the place !"
