"Nice little shopping centre. The 4G network is quite poor inside the building! If you need to load something on your phone for your shopping, it might be good to load it and screenshot it before you get in."

"Smashed avo, with hashbrown and bruschetta with halloumi cheese is our favourite along with a cup of Mocha and a Chai. Its offers a great environment to catch up with friends and family. And my nephew loves the coffee club chocolate cake."

"I can't think of many better places to hang out on a sunny afternoon than a microbrewery, and Bodriggy in Abbotsford is one of the best in Melbourne. This huge open warehouse is full of light and I love it's aged patina and industrial bones. Comfortable seating makes it even easier to hang around here for hours. <br/ <br/ This place gets packed and I've been here at times when it's really busy, but we came on a Thursday afternoon recently and it was a little quieter and had a more relaxed vibe. The staff here are cool and super friendly, and make you feel really welcome. <br/ <br/ Now onto the important part. The beer is obviously King here, and there are some great choices. Hubby was very happy with his choices, and I enjoyed the wine that they had available. There is also a really good food menu with a South American slant, and we enjoyed an excellent burger and salad. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the meat was nicy seasoned. <br/ <br/ As much as I love a good wine bar, in the interests of a healthy marriage it's good to find a balance; so I'm more than happy to hang out at breweries when they are as cool as Bodriggy Brewing Company."

"This tiny little wine bar is most notably known for their raclette as well as serving up local Victorian wines. The menu is very slim, between the three of us we managed to order enough to make a meal of it.<br/ <br/ We start off with some Spanish white anchovies on a bed of potato crisps. The anchovies had been marinated and was acidic and sour, paired well with the chips and gave off a salt and vinegar flavour profile. The baked mussels were delicious in their tarragon and garlic butter sauce, a little bit of sourdough on the side to mop up what's left.<br/ <br/ The chicken liver pate was not as smooth as we'd like but the flavours were more pronounced. The sourdough lavosh was the perfect vehicle to hold the pate, that paired with pickled fennel brought a brightness to the dish. More sourdough (standard) was brought to us to help us finish off the pate.<br/ <br/ We could smell something in the distance, surely it was our raclette. Sure enough it soon appeared on our tables, it was a mild cheese but you get the tasty grilled parts paired with some creamy potatoes. I'd love to try their rac'n'mac Thursdays, thinking about it makes me drool.<br/ <br/ The owner then introduces us to our cheese/charcuterie board, he definitely knows where he sourced his produce and what particular pairings they go well with. First was the Tunworth Camembert cheese, very creamy and slightly pungent, went well with the sweetness of the honey pickled pear. The pork neck had lovely streaks of fat and I really enjoyed the smokiness of it, paired with some preserved peach. The corn-fed duck salami was paired with some burnt orange, a classic duck and orange combination and was slightly peppery. Of course all the products can stand on their own but the pairings just give it another layer of complexity.<br/ <br/ A hidden gem, check out their Instagram for some raclette eye candy. Appreciate all the fine detail that goes into their selections, good for a date night but I'd suggest against large groups."

"This restaurant is Box Hill's secret gem. Parking is a problem, however I believe that they have their own dedicated car park around the corner.
We started with an appetiser beautiful and fresh. Our entree was amazing. The squid was soft and with a soft batter that we were surprised. The eye fillet (tornadoes) was delicious fresh and cooked to perfection. The jus was amazing as was the vegetables. Our desserts were fabulous. $25.00 for the 3 courses were amazing value and quality. Could not fault the service.
So impressed was I, that I have booked our AGM lunch here for 57 people. No doubt everyone will be impressed. Great management of the students. I was impressed."

"Machi is a Japanese restaurant with simple decor and beautiful walls of art. Their menu is mostly traditional, with little modern twists here and there. Our favourite were the sushi sashimi moriawase and yuzu kingfish. Fresh and delicious!"
