"If you are visiting Lunenburg, you will definitely consider a treat here! This is my favorite ice cream shop in Nova Scotia! The amount of ice for the price is so worth it. Their individual blade is larger than a double loop from some of the ice stores in Halifax. We have the maple Walnusseis. Can't really go wrong with this taste when in Nova Scotia. It is in line with all other ice stores in the province. Oh, and I think their waffles are fresh. You can definitely taste the freshness of the cones."

"Friday night dinner and place was packed. Only 2 waitresses and a bartender. Very small place but on waterfront. They asked if we had reservations. We are traveling so no we didn't. No one in line did either so some people left. Food was good. The seafood linguine was good And the seafood stew was as well but not the best we have had in this trip. Waitress forgot our second drink order. She was apologetic and severely overworked and very nice. Places that want or require reservations need to post that on their websites. Saves everyone a problem. Even though we got a table after about a 10 minute wait, I feel that needs to be disclosed BEFORE an unsuspecting traveler chooses a place to spend their evening.Parking: Parking on street is free after 6pm. Meter paid before."

"For some reason, this place stood out for us it was our first trip to Nova Scotia, and we had to rent a car to Lunenburg. This place did not disappoint. We got an assortment of ice cream and fudge for us and two daughters, who loved sitting on the flower decorated swings in the back of the place (a nice touch! great quality food and friendly staff made it an enjoyable experience."
