"I found Anna Bannana 's chocolates via a friend 's recommendation on Facebook. The proprietor was super helpful explaining the different chocolates, shipping and pricing via Facebook messaging. She is based out of Southboro MA and works out of her own kitchen, which has been inspected, licensed and everything! The chocolates are offered in 4 oz increments at $7 per 4oz, $12 for 8oz and $22 for 16oz, the marshmallows are $6 for 6. This is about low to average for higher end chocolates (hell I pay $2 per truffle without a thought from Jaques Torres 's Mr Chocolate in NYC I liked the idea that these were home made chocolates, made one at a time with hand made ingredients (the caramel is home made as are the marshmallows, which I find amazing as I 've never known someone to make marshmallows and sold by a real person and not a corporate conglomerate. It 's important to me to support small businesses that were/are local to me (I am a NY Massachusetts transplant . I ordered Anna Bananna 's chocolates shipped to two locations, one to my Mother In Law in RI and another to my wife in FL. Next day express shipping for about 2lbs of chocolate to RI was around $9.60 and the express rate for the same quantity to FL was $17.35. I ended up selecting the Kitchen Sinks , Toffee clusters and Peanut Butter cups for my wife and order the same plus Smore 's Marshmallow Squares for my mother in law. The chocolates arrived next day to my mother in law packed in a padded box with a cold pack. The cold pack was still frozen when it was picked up by her on her porch at the end of the day. My wife 's chocolate took a 3 day trip (over a weekend and arrived on a Monday at 5pm, still cold and unmelted! Review of the Chocolates!!!! I am reviewing the chocolates I sampled as my wife sort of left me just a few to try as this was a gift to her while I was away on business. Kitchen Sinks The Kitchen Sink is described as Pretzel w/ caramel, pecans, toffee, chocolate, and salt. they should really be described as called crack laden chocolate pretzels with caramel and salt . I know she sells these as farmer 's markets and I can imagine these granola moms offering to sell their kids to buy just another few bags of these! They were a powerful punch of salty, chocolate and caramel accompanied by the crunch of pretzel and pecans. The dark chocolate used was the perfect amount of sweetness, not overshadowing the caramel and perfectly accompanied by general salt on every layer of these things. I will be buying these by the pound in the future as you just cannot get enough of them! Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups These were as described, the same perfectly bitter/sweet chocolate combined with a bit of salt (yeah people, salt chocolate is the next thing you all need to try filled with organic peanut butter (I am not sure if it was home made peanut butter or the good stuff you get at whole foods but wow it was also perfectly balance with sweet/saltiness you get with good peanut butter. I will definitely be buying more of these as well and keeping them in the freezer for those quick bites here and there. Toffee Clusters These are as described, bits of toffee, chocolate, salt, one quick bite maybe two and you look for another one. Very tasty, perfectly salted and addictive. I wish they were just a tiny bit bigger so I 'd not be tempted to grab another and another and.... yeah, did I mention I really don 't like sweets, (really don 't keep candy in the house, don 't often keep dessert in the house , but good chocolate, well it 's right up there with, food and sex as requirements for truly savoring life! Smore Marshmallows I did not order these as the Mrs does not like marshmallow but the mother in law, raved about them, I will have to add a few to my next order!"
