"As a born and raised Windsorite who now lives out of the city, I always enjoy coming home to familiar and cozy spots like Taloola. I have no issue with the food or price. Overall quality is pretty good! The one thing I can’t get over is the general tone of the service I consistently see. For example, my visit on June 17/2022 with some of the staff, it’s like their serving you in an inconvenience or a burden. This is certainly not all the staff but was true of the 2 people who helped me during my otherwise lovely visit. I just can’t shake this observation and I wish it were different. I find there are so many Windsor spots who we all frequent because there limited options but we tolerate mediocre service. We all with that would be different. I’ll continue to visit Taloola to support this lovely local business."

"This is a great breakfast place on Ottawa street which is known for restaurants and cafes... The bacon and eggs with home fries (with real potatoes) and toast comes with coffee for under five bucks, which is unbeatable... but the lady here is the waitress and cook... it's a small place, so be kind and leave here a little tip... Enjoy!"

"Alot of food on the menu that sounded appetizing. had a burger and salad, the burger was good.. nothing special. the salad was really wet, as if it had just been washed and not dried or spun with a salad spinner. it ruined the salad. service was good and environment too."

"Who would think to fill a burger with peanut butter and jelly?! And yet it was amazing! My daughter ordered this and enjoyed every bite! I had the Sweet Heat, which contained the same extraordinary bacon as on the other burger. I sprinkle my own...pork bells and smoke it in bacon; the Mama Burger-Bacon was all so good. You can't find that in a grocery store. The burgers were perfectly prepared and really exceptional. Definitely excellent!"

"There isn’t much I can say that hasn’t already been said about this delightful little pastry and lunch spot. Visited here with 4 other ladies for desserts and were all very pleased with our choices. The restaurant is decorated very eclectically and tastefully. It is slightly on the pricey side, but the pies are delicious. Worth stopping by and trying out. They also have a limited selection of yummy ice cream."

"Having lived in Windsor for many years returned this year to get married from England we chose my favourite old pub for a get together. There was 22 in total. All the food came out together all of it was hot and all really good. The English family that was travelling loved the pub and the atmosphere. The waitress was great very polite and quick to refill drinks. I have certainly missed shotz wings !! Be back next year."

"Neat little place, staff were very prompt to greet, seat and take orders. Very exciting selection of burgers and sandwiches with unusual toppings. Large portions served with a heap of fries and a fun variety of dipping sauces to chose from. Sadly with both of...our meals- the fries and the burgers were salty beyond belief. I couldn’t finish the bottom half of my fries as the salt got increasingly worse as I made my way toward the bottom of the bowl and the burger- maybe it was the bacon but it was just as salty as the fries. Checked off the list of places to try/ will not be returning."
