"The main thing is I think the food has vastly improved since 2 years ago. Everything was well cooked and tasty. The service from the young man on duty who looked like the Manager was excellent too. The 50% off main meal promo was good too. This was my second visit in under a month and as I said it’s the food/chef who is driving this."

"Once you get your head around the fact that making your actual order by phone can take longer than the average take away restaurant you will be pleasantly surprised- the food is always lovely especially the stewed Chicken and soups. My family love this grub and have been regulars since they opened. The staff are actually all very pleasant now we know them and the portions are generous. If you like your West Indian food and live locally this place is worth trying!!"

"Nicely cooked food. Cooked to order but just under £22 for fish chips and peas. Really? Was expecting £16-17. Service ok but the odd smile would be good. All polite but wouldn’t be in a rush to go back."

"This place is great for lunch. Extensive menu and the food is consistently good. I normally have the avocado on toast with poached egg and bacon. Definitely recommend."

"Food or steamed veg most often seem to be stale. Bought food this afternoon and the rice and peas were freezing cold as if it was taken from the fridge. The steam veg looked slimy and I smelt it. It was gone off. This was after noon."

"Came for lunch, the Restaurant was fairly busy but not full. The waitress directed us to a table which had not been cleared off from the previous guest, so she quickly removed the plates and walked away, leaving the table very dirty. We then politely asked whether this could be cleaned up, the Waitress obliged, her looks could have killed and her facial expression spoke a thousand words. She also wiped down the seat for my wife, leaving it very wet. When my wife politely asked whether this could be dried up, she replied it will dry out on its own. By now we have had enough of her attitude and decided to walk out and go somewhere else. The waitress then pointed to a vacant, clean table and simply dropped the menus onto the table and walked away without saying a word. I went to order the food, which was nice as usual. But normally waiting staff will come to the table to enquire whether all is ok, but this particular waitress decided not to bother with such niceties and continued to make a long face towards us, and all because we had asked her to clear up the table before we can sit down, and we asked this in a very polite manner. With that kind of 'service ', I will not bother with Nando 's next time."
