I knew of Roast's commitment to locally sourced ingredients and innovative cuisine; yet I was still so very impressed with the unique and delicious offerings. The shop was spotlessly clean and cheerful. The staff was friendly and helpful. I came for the Peruvian pork-belly tacos and also had the maple apple slaw and sweet potato tots. What ANGRY MAMA doesn't like about Roast:
I was so ready to love this place because it has vegan options.. however, the pulled pork sandwich was so bland. The slaw had no zing or pop of freshness to it. Maybe a different BBQ sauce would have made it more flavorful. Regardless, the sandwich was okay. Not bad but not good.
