"We had a really nice vegan roast at the golden lion. the pork was good, but the chicken roasting was on place. the roses and the veg were delicious, but the Yorkshire doll was not so good and was pretty soggy. desert was absolutely delicious and massive portions (we had mocha praline cake and pecan pie). all together a really nice lunch and would recommend deffo to go the chicken style roast one."

"My husband and I visited Friday night. Although we were busy, we could get a table easy. The bar was well equipped, many local choices always a plus. Also a proper coffee machine. Dream. The menu was short, but had some really nice options, so we decided to share a few between us. The highlights were the famous steak for me and my husband loved the kimchi loaded potatoes. Yeah, unloaded pommes, loaded potatoes. Absolutely annoying. After we had such nice food, we could not taste the dessert menus we had with the Pecan pie and Croissant cake (with Custard). Honestly, the Croissant cake was probably the best I ever put in my mouth. We had this a few weeks ago and I've been thinking about it every day. My only reluctance to have it back would be if it just didn't miss it again. The best food I've had for a long time. Extra stars for the Croissant cake. I could write a whole review of this cake.
