"Food and service were good. We ate from the buffet which appeared clean and well stocked. Did notice that there were quite a few flies in the restaurant which made me wonder why they had all the desserts sitting out uncovered (literally 25 individual plates of cut up pie and cake) It was very warm in the dining area which made our experience less than perfect, but would try it again just to give it a fair shake. Pulled por was very good as was the chopped pork. Meatloaf was tasty too, as were all of the sides. Salad bar was fresh and full of many options."

"1,. touted as top 50 most romantic place in the world. it was not romantic at all. 2. on own very nice, great eating. it's an old 3-story house. each room had dining, but not necessarily walls, so they could hear all the other conversations drunk or otherwise. would not bring children."

"I was really disappointed with the buffet. I haven't been to Shoney's in years and was really looking forward to it. My husband made sure we had a hotel close by for breakfast. I guess some memories are best to keep as memories. Plus the price was outrageous!!!"
