"We stumbled up on this while strolling and took a chance- what a great decision it turned out to be! The hamburger was choice. I was equally impressed with the tomatoes, which were the freshest ever. My friend got the butcher 's choice of the day,...which was Bife de Paleta that day. Wonderful. We also tried the empanadas, which were cooked in nice clean oil and tasted delicious. Waitress not one word of English but we managed with our terrible Spanish."

"I tried the apple pie and the pecan pie. The pecan pie was delicious. It was just sweet enough, the crust was good, and there was a sufficient amount of pecans. On the other hand, the apple pie was the worst I have ever had....This was the first time I had an apple pie that contained the seeds and the tough core of the apple. There was very little flavor. Not even a hint of cinnamon."
