"We usually travel to Markham 2 or 3 times a year. It's part of our ritual to find a new restaurant to add to our favorites. Chef Wong's was highly recommended by my friend and he knows about good dinning. So after spending a wonderful day at the beach (Sandbanks), our party of 10 was starving for a Chinese meal. Peking duck first and foremost. We ordered 2 and it was very satisfying. Crispy skin and tasty. The little pancakes roll were perfect. The second dish of minced duck meat that follows was also very good with nice crispy lettuce. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Too much to review here. The menu is extensive. Everything from quick meal dishes to fine dinning plates are available. We intend to visit again next time as it is now on our favorite list. Bon appétit!"

"Came here for a celebration dinner with the family. There were 8 adults and 2 kids. We ordered the set menu that cost $368. This was way more food than we expected. We got a private room which you must spend at least $300. The...set menu had about 15 dishes. From traditional Peking duck to fish and a 5 pound lobster. All in all the food was very tasty and there was a lot of food left over. This menu can easily feed 12 ppl."

"Long-time Toronto residents wanted to take my wife I who were visiting from the San Francisco area to this new restaurant. We went on a Tuesday night. There were few people there. We ordered a set dinner for 4 and added Peking duck prepared two ways. Each dish was generally pretty tasty, but we expected more from a Chinese restaurant in the greater Toronto area. The best dish was the duck, which was expertly carved table side. Service was outstanding, possibly because there weren't many people dining there that night. This restaurant probably deserves a re-visit after it has been open a little longer. Its first impression was just so-so."

"I'm not sure why the little star got, but this place is the bomb. wanted good old delicious Chinese food, then this place has it. the sweet and sour pork was delish. it's just so crispy and of course they have my fave, turnip patties! I will be coming back"

"Quite extensive menu plus specials for set dinners. We ordered three dishes. The princess chicken was ok. The egg with bean sprouts, dried scallops and bamboo fungus was nicely done, light and moist. The short rib was tender and nicely flavored. Dishes were quite large and plenty of meat for the short rib."

"This joint has been around for a long time (northwest corner of Promenade Mall, close to T&T Supermarket), thus even though the food was good, the place looked very tired. It recently closed down for renovation and what a difference it made when re opened. Though setup remains mostly unchanged, the place looks totally different and new with new chairs, tables, decorations, etc. And the washroom almost as grand as any 5 star places, which is a pleasant surprise considering it is supposed to be just a casual eating place... My wife and I ordered simple lunch congee and wonton noodles, and fried seafood vermicelli for take out. Congee was done just right, not too thick or thin, and vermicelli was a knock out . I do not give it 5 star because place is a little tight, tables are too close to one another."
