"This is the second time I eat in this restaurant since January 2017. Both times I found the food excellent good presentation and excellent service. I enjoyed a half bottle of the Pinot Grigio. We were a small group of people and we had reserved the back room which is a good space for 12 to 14 people. Although this restaurant is in a basement and there are no windows it is comfortable, the furnishings can be described as traditional, earth tones, the lighting is dim and makes for a fine dining experience."

"I bet this was the place to be seen 40 years ago. I also bet the menu, decor, and tablecloths were the same. When I see sauteed mushrooms, I shudder.My New York strip looked like it had been pounded then fried. I think this because it had the texture of minute steak. Flavour was there but the eyes eat first.I don't get how this place is so highly rated. The Keg we drove by would have been a better option and will be next time.The wine selection is too small and forced us to select the best of the worst.Get with the times or close the doors."

"My family and I went there for lunch. This meal was a disappointing experience. Usually I can count on excellence and was surprised at how many mistakes were made. First off, we were there for lunch and the hostess didn't give us the lunch menus when we were seated. We didn't even think about it until our server asked us if we would like them. We were grateful for her recommendation. The biggest impact to us as diners is that my daughter needs to eat gluten-free for medical reasons and the plate that was placed in front of her was cross contaminated. Our plates had been not only switched, but the wrong salads were on the plates. It was quite confusing. First of all, the wrong plate was placed in front of her, in which we didn't know until we started eating since her and I had similar dishes, but with different sauces (hers obviously gluten-free) and we had the right salads in front of us. To follow, her salad was ordered without croutons, and there was croutons in it. One good thing is that we never had to ask our server for a refill on beverages, she was on top of that. Overall, if you are a gluten-free diner beware when dining there before you take a bite in the event your plate comes out wrong. The manager (we assume) was very gracious and replaced the salad right away, she even went to get her book with a list of ingredients in the Caesar salad dressing (as I was wondering) to ensure that it was safe for my child to consume. I was surprised not to receive a discount for the inconvenience, but instead we received a poor apology from the waitress as she blamed the kitchen staff for the mixed up plates."

"Have been to Sudbury and area countless times and never knew this place existed. The neighbourhood and building are removed from the typical restaurant vibe. Don’t be fooled, this is authentic Italian cuisine and will surpass your expectations. Visited with friends for drinks, apps, mains and desserts. There were 4 of us and everything was quality. The gnocchi was homemade and better than any I’ve ever had, including in Italy. Impressive wine list and an original seasonal menu…chicken thighs in blueberry sauce was perfection. Our server was polite and knowledgeable and obviously proud of the family recipes. Was worth exploring the other side."

"The restaurant pretends to be upscale and trendy, but the food does not reflect that. Don't get me wrong,the food is mediocre . It's not worth the money. Truly speaking the menu is basic and none of the dishes stood out. Simply put bait and switch!"
