"I ordered a full breakfast with a freshly squeezed orange juice. The juice was orange-flavored powder mixed with water and when I complained the waitress said the juice had been squeezed early in the morning. So upsetting! The thing smelled and tasted of chemicals. First and last time"

"This stench was impeccable. I had been open only a few days when we had dinner here for lunch on September 29, 2015. It was cozy and very clean. is run by a cute young couple. lunch specials had a very reasonable price and included drinks and a dessert, so it actually cost us much less than other places in San Telmo and other good air places. the food was very Argentine, but with a unique touch. our group of six included three young children and also loved food. If you are visiting in good air, I recommend that you visit the area of San Telmo and eat in the Ostara bistro."

"Maybe the place where Chinese people know what to order. Very nice appearance, linen napkins, big menu etc. Went on a weekend and expected better food upon seeing so many Chinese customers. Big families. We were one of only a few non-Chinese there. I guess...they love it. Maybe I just don't know how to order here? Went with a typical order of sweet and sour chicken. Very bland. Friend got wine and was disappointed. Said he couldn't figure out if they had anything that would accompany his meal. Service was okay. Bit of a language barrier. Stayed close by and did not go back."

"Spent 2 hours waiting for food that was reheated on microwave but was also delayed so it got cold. Same with the drinks, the coke was lukewarm. The meat was disgustingly chewy and bland, as if it was boiled. Worst way to waste money, it...was inedible."

"We visited this cafe twice. The first time we tried their pizza and empanadas. Well, they have not perfected the art of making pizza. Hard cooked pizza dough. Not good. Their empanadas were bake and not fried and the pastry was flaky and the beef...filling tasty. Good. Ham filled empanadas tasted like they were filled sliced deli ham. Not so good. But here is their strong suit and this I am sure few will find fault with. Stopped by again and had the one of the plates of the day Platos del Dia) Escalopes De Pescado con salsa verde y papas cunas with a beer for 80 pesos. We did not sample every thing they had to offer but the above get my unqualified seal of approval. It was a generous filet of fried fish that was cooked to perfection. Though this is listed as a Cafe and Bar, it has sit down service and personnel who are helpful and prompt. When I am in BsAr again I will remember this place fondly and go there again for this fish dish if for nothing else. I am giving it an excellent just for this fish dish alone and maybe the beef empanadas. Of course, I will end by saying again think fish."
