"Had a really nice meal at The Ferry Inn in Jan 2023. The food was very good and the service was excellent with great staff. I would only mark the Ferry down based on if you have a dog, they allocate you a table in a cool (temp) conservatory, away from the bar and restaurant which looked a lot warmer and had more ambience. Not marking them down for the food and service, just if you are a dog owner and want to take your furry friend, like a lot of places, you get put in a breezy backwater away from the normal guests. I get it, but equally, can 't give a 5 star review for being treated a little bit like a second class citizen. I get it if restaurants say no to dogs, but i don 't like a substandard experience if dogs are technically allowed"

"The best chippy we’ve had! This is now called Mor Ffein (looks like it’s recently been re-done up) and it is excellent. Chips are perfectly cooked, sausage was fresh and curry sauce was the best I’ve ever had! My partner loved the fish and mushy peas too. The lemon cheesecake was delicious, so light and tasty. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. The ladies working were great too."
