"Went here on Wednesday night to have a catch-up session with my friends.<br>

Ordered sweet and sour fried fish. The portion is big, was delicious and nicely cooked. It is kinda tricky to eat because it has small bones in between the meat.<br>
Also ordered stir fried vegetables with fried tofu. The portion is medium, you can share it between 2-3 adults. The taste was just okay.<br>

During Wednesday night, the restaurant was quite empty which makes it cosy. However, the table service is not too quick despite the small number of customer."

"I had lunch at Shalom Indonesian today. It's a small old eatery managed by a waitress and chef. It was lunchtime and there was a lone diner finishing off his meal when I walked in. I ordered the Shalom Beef Ribs, Chicken satay and a cendol drink totalling $30. Being the only diner in there it still took the chef 25 minutes to prepare my simple meal. The chicken satay was quite dry but edible despite being drowned in a super sweet peanut sauce which I had to wipe off. The 3 tiny beef ribs came with a huge serve of rice. The meat was so dry and hard, most of it was inedible and it cost $13. A rip-off! The cendol drink was so sweet I had difficulty swallowing it. Many reviewers have written that they enjoy the food here so good luck to them. I simply cannot bring my family/friends here. One to avoid!"

"Tonight we felt like peking ente, so we decided to visit this new restaurant in the pineland shopping center that was previously called atjing roast duck. its version is the same as the previous restaurant version crispy skin with the juicy meat beautifully presented on a deformable plate. the menu does not seem to have changed much, it has some Sichuan dishes and Nordic Chinese dishes that we are happy to try if they want to eat the duck, make sure that they introduce and book their escape as they are very popular. the restaurant was full tonight (on Sunday) and each single table had a duck on it."

"Came for the sushi and was satisfied. The portions are bigger than expected and compact with flavor. Quality and value for money. A great variety of dishes.<br br/>The service and atmosphere could use a lot of<br/>work. We had to ask for simple things like Wasabi, plates and sauce bowls. It's a small restaurant so book just in case."
