"This restaurant is amazing! It is a 5-star experience without the price point. Be advised that the portions are giant. One member of our party was afraid they would be small, so ordered two entrees and couldn't even finish one. The highlight was the garlic sauce that comes with the bread service. Absolutely wonderful!"

"Our favorite restaurant in Guanajuato! The atmosphere is cozy and personal and the food is excellent. The owner and cook, Thierry, needs time to explain the menu, makes great recommendation based on your preferences, and makes its best to fulfill your special wishes. His passion and pride in his art are contagious and made it a great experience for us. We had the mushroom risotto, salmon with mustard sauce, duck jams, Mediterranean salad, mushroom soup and chocolate cake. Everything was delicious, with balanced and complex flavors. Duck confit tacos and the mushroom soup were especially standouts for us. We definitely come back when we are back in Guanajuato!"

"We went in mid day (about 4:20) for a quick bite. There were no other tables. Since it was early we only ordered water to drink. They served some bread with two dipping sauces. Bread was fine, sauces were tasteless. We thought it was odd that one of the sauces was an herb olive oil because every table had a small carafe with olive oil which had a sprig of thyme and a red chili marinating inside. Once we looked closer at this olive oil, we saw that the thyme was moldy where it was sticking out of the olive oil! We then looked at these on other tables....and they ALL were moldy!! We pointed this out to the server and she quickly took them all away and brought us a new one. This was fine...but it takes a very long time for thyme in olive oil to become moldy and for these to be still served on every table is atrocious. Appetizer was a Portobello on Polenta. This was fair at best Portobello was chewy and the polenta was a hard fried square. We shared a main of Salmon with a Guajillo (hot pepper) sauce. Well instead of a nice drizzle of spicy Guajillo glaze/sauce, it was swimming in a bland, thin, salty sauce. Could not even taste the fish and the skin which was left on (ok if it is crispy) was a limp soggy mess on the bottom. Most awful salmon we have ever eaten we managed to eat about half of it. Our only guess is that they have a new cook post covid who is trying to do the menu which a previous chef prepared."
