"When I'm on my way, I try to avoid MCD, KFC, BK and other almost food if possible and really take some time for lunch. This doesn’t always work – but in the Dec in Kassel I have the Avanti for a few years as a fixed starting point. On 09.02.2015, I was back in the KS region and thus fits into a lunch break. Positive surprise: a new look, the dark decor has moved to a modern bright quench after the relaunch of 26.08.2014. A new opening with the familiar faces. This is a top class/gourmet Italian, is self-explanatory due to the situation in an EKZ – but I have not been disappointed with food until then. The quantities of Italians (the Corallo-Eiscafés) were remarkable, even in the Dec, which served in four teams for lunch. In addition to the food a la Carte there are days or weekly recommendations on boards. “Request” is also possible: whole, half, quarterly pizzas or filled calzone (fried, next to Panini or from the map. The pizza pieces are also served at the tables, partly also as a mini lunch menu with salad ambience: simple, there are only menus on the tables – but fits the guests without a doubt. 2 tables can also sit on the counter on request. Service: friendly reception – even after more than 6 months, with recognition from the male. Service strength and boss. A few words changed with the boss and recognized me about the new design. I asked the waiter to keep a table free because I wanted to visit certain places (belong to the dez, the gastronomy has no one. This is absolutely necessary for the lunch time, because it is quickly very crowded, about 12:30 and 13:30 is hardly a place to get. In short, I could “at my table place”. A look into the map, in the meantime my drink request was accepted (0.5 l S. Pellegrino f. 3.70 €). I quickly got fresh rolls (from pizza dough, nice crunchy, but not too dark, hot and slightly salted. Salt and pepper mill and balsamico olive oil were then added with cutlery. It must be acknowledged that all tables are served by a service, as his colleague only serves the counter and the boss partly helps in the kitchen. But until then there was never a memory of mine. Only sometimes a little more patience. As an appetizer I decided to garnish with a Carpaccio by Red Bete, with truffled pesto and planned parmesan, with large-leaved parsley. This took about 10 15 minutes because it was quite full and the kitchen team (2 pers. everything freshly prepared. A real taste festival: fine truffle aromas, along with the freshness of red beds, the slightly savory taste of Parmesan, on a hint of olive oil. A little salt and pepper over it – that was very delicious. (7,90 € The main dish was a day recommendation: Rigatoni (the card is all pasta varieties produced with Salsiccia (also homemade and tomato sauce (10,90€). After another quarter of an hour. The noodles were all al dente, different lengths and not like “red” – a hint that they are made themselves? I'm not an absolute pasta expert. The salsiccia was fresh, seasoned with coarse texture with fennel seeds, salt and pepper – so it should be. Some fresh garlic (I had no further appointment!!! , parsley, plus small rings of a mild peperoni, the whole with tomato sauce (Polpa i.e. canned – but of very good quality, some peffer, only unfortunately a trace too much oil (or fat discharged from the Salsiccia? – perhaps this has just brought the taste: spicy, sweet fruity, fennel, garlic, very slightly piquant – also a feast for the taste buds. After that, an espresso (Lucaffé – one of the really better varieties – Illy, Lavazza, Segafredo have a name for good marketing – but not much more than the... Conclusion: €25.00 for a delicious lunch meal – in addition, the kitchen has increased slightly compared to the last time. I'm always worth a stop."

"Lohmann is an institution in Kassel. The beer garden is legendary. In the past they served honest decent food along with the outstanding beer. Not last night. The daily special was garlicky but lacked refinement. To try a sure bet I ordered Bratwurst and fries....Equally disappointing. They’re running out of steam or I picked a bad day."

"Located in the castle park, not far from the UNESCO World Heritage Site, above Bad Wilhelmshöhe Since I stayed here several times for seminars and further trainings and at the time I liked it very well, I had now rented with my lover for a weekend, including Candle Light Dinner and Spa. Well maintained, beautiful Superior 4 star hotel . The front facade is completely glazed, offers very harmonious, fresh flowers everywhere, very comfortable upholstered furniture, modern art on the walls, tables tastefully with fabric tablecloths, matching fabric napkins and candles, discrete, beautiful decoration, menu cards on the table, plus attentive but inconspicuous service, indirectly subtle purple light concept in large candles. On the 1st evening was censored: appetizers: river cancer on zucchini and apricots very fine Mozzarella Mango Pumpernickelsalat interesting composition, so never eaten. Main food: Dorade with oyster mushrooms in herbal cream with broccoli and delicate wheat very well matched. Table top in nail cream sauce, gnocchis and colorful market salads meat butterfly big my absolute highlight of the evening. Desserts : Coconut mousse on mangofoam successful exotic composition, as well as not too sweet Germknödel , heath beer filling with vanilla sauce on caramel mirror Germknödel unfortunately almost cold tastefully good. For this purpose, dark yeast wheat and Rhababerschorle convinced me at the time already the well-designed Corona concept, plenty of space between the individual tables, of course until you mouth nose protection, at the tables cotton gloves you could use to keep the pliers at the buffet. Inscription of the direction of travel so that guests do not meet. On the 2nd evening: Aperitif Lillet Berry= Trester Schnaps with Lillet Berry and Berry very well decorated grapes secco very light and juicy appetizers decorated: tomatoes mozzarella cuts with pesto , rocola and pumpernickel, the most interesting from Menue, where I could have seen skeptically turbid potato soup, could have a small component. Main dishes: corn cell breast with thyme, Romanesco and Pommes Dauphine poularden breast very juicy, well seasoned. The Thymianjus, the Romanesco still slightly crisp, very tasty hoki fillet on limonen foam, with Red Bete laibs and band noodles fish still slightly glazed in the middle and very delicate fine, as well as the limonen foam, unfortunately only a touch of it on the rich plate, but immediately got small sauces with limonen foam on request. Desserts: Two of the cherry with lemongrasss on it I was the happiest and was most disappointed cherry yogurt O.K., but nothing special inlaid cherry O.K. the lemongrasss ice served was very gentle and unfortunately not tasted us both. Here is the claim : The best is not at all. The service is very attentive. Here the guest reads the wishes. Also on the breakfast buffet there was no wish open, great selection appealing served fine We had a nice room, unfortunately some sober, modern furnished but cozy. A beautiful spa area with indoor pool, various saunas, massages and a natural swimming pond in the outdoor area from here, from great views over the city, especially in the evening, when the many lights of the Kasseler shine as well as beautiful rest and rest beds are available to the hotel guests."

"We went to their other outlets, but I think this rating/warning belongs to all their places in cassel: we went here and asked for vegan items, but the only thing they had was brot (which is quite beautiful, but most bakeries have vegan brot in Germany) and coffee without milk. no vegan sweets or snacks here. this bakery offers nothing that most other bakeries in Germany would not offer. we also had a coffee here and it was absolutely horrible, I don't think I had such a bad coffee in a long time."
