"If you like pizza that is thick, soggy, and tasteless then this is the place for you.I made the mistake of ordering from here after seeing favorable reviews on another restaurant review site. It was only after paying $35 for inedible pizza that I realized my mistake.I would have given it a 1 but there were no bugs on it (that I know of)"

"Rating 4.5 Bright and high ceilings, nice decor, great food and friendly service. They make everything from scratch and it’s all vegan and gluten free, including the spinach roti for the Kati roll. The roti had a nice texture and did not break or crack apart. The potato/cauliflower filling with pickled onions was nice but I was expecting a different flavour based on my Kati roll experience. It was tasty though and very filling. The side mushroom soup was ahhhhmazing! So tasty and comforting on a rainy day. The cacao smoothie was good but way too big to have with the meal so I put it in a take away cup. I ordered a piece of berry cake to go to enjoy later and it was nice….not too sweet. The servers were friendly and helpful. The items were pricey but the quality was excellent. I’m so happy I found this place"

"First time back in awhile, I had fond memories, but apparently there are new owners. Reserved an alcove, when we arrived, told that we had to wait. They asked if we would take a floor table, and we accepted, but still had to wait several minutes past our reservation time before they seated us. Awkward, standing in the (small) entrance with a senior guest. Much too noisy for conversation. Unpleasantly loud, also very crowded. Servers kept bumping into our table, guests, as they made their rounds. Service was very, very slow. Dishes came out at seemingly random times. One person had finished their dish, before the next person received their dish and we had asked for them to come out at the same time. Several requests for pepper, a wine list, drinks, went unanswered until they were repeated 3 4 times. Took almost 1 1/2 hours before we all had some food in front of us. Food was not exception in any way, especially for the price, and portions were small. Some of us ordered 1/2 portions (this is a great option), but they were very small. Some of us ordered full portions, and they were not much larger and much more expensive. By the time they asked us if we wanted desert, it was over 2 hours into dinner and we were very tired. Also had a cocktail, which was the market price, but it was not particularly good and had too much ice."

"We met friends at Pagliacci's which was recommended by friends in Victoria. Food was excellent. Menu was extensive, and primarily Italian. Service was prompt but not over attentive. We arrived at 5:30 and a good thing. We got one of the last free tables. When we left at 7:00 the line up was half a block long. Pagliacci's apparently does not take reservations. Seating is cozy, so this might not be the place for an intimate conversation."
