"Sushi Kuchi was a fun lunch experience. 1st off the name just cracked us up! Ok? But Most Importantly the Food was Awesome!!! I mean Yummy ? I’m a huge Sushi ? ? lover this was really good! Of course the 50% off discount on all the rolls was a nice incentive but aside from that it was easy order, fast, good fun! We had the normal edamame miso soup openers before our Sushi Kuchi Rolls. Our reunion lunch was really nice but having here made it iconic memorable. ?"

"We like this place a lot. Mostly because servers are sweet and the prices are neat. Pre-inflation prices for delicious rolls? our favorites are the Ninja and the Flaming Hey Lee. I wouldn?t recommend the curry or the udon. The rice in the curry is not great and the udon was just fine. But the rolls are good value. This is a nice low key, casual place. Quite nice!"

"Great prices, sushi quality, and portions. I was skeptical of a sushi spot on a college Campus, but I would repeat the effort of finding parking on campus, to have their food again. The only disagreement I have with this restaurant is they charge 50 cents for all their sauces, the meals don't come with it."

"I have came here three times already, and every time I tell myself to come back here again soon. That means how good this sushi place is and how much I love here. Probably Ikuri is one of my favorite spots in SD, I only have two favorites so far. So Ikuri is one of the top two sushi spots in my opinion. My favorite here is always their Sea Urchin nigiri and fresh wasabi. Their rolls are good too, my fav are the orange crush and poke roll. Their salmon nigiri and yellow tail sashimi are great too."

"The general area at Tajima consists of Chinese, Korean, Thai, and other Japanese restaurants but this shines in contrast with the other Asian restaurants on Convoy St. I highly recommend the Yakisoba Omelette and Yakiudon. Their okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake) is also quite good, just ask them to go light on the sauce. The bonito flakes look like they’re alive when you first get your dish, but fear not, it’s just a reaction to heat. One thing I noticed is the bilingual clientele. They are mostly Japanese, and the wait staff are all Japanese as well. I think this is one of the few Japanese restaurants that are actually owned by Japanese. I think the only flaw is that they play too much mainstream American pop music- not too loud. It’s definitely a good place to go dating. They have two flat screen TVs as part of the decoration- it’s always showing something interesting; natural scenery, wildlife, and such."
