"I honestly don't understand why this place is rated that highly, maybe I came here on a bad day. I got number of things to try fresh, the baked BBQ pork bun, mixed prawn dumplings sui mai's, then also got a pack of frozen Lotus Seed buns for home. The BBQ pork bun was the type you get at Tim Ho Wan baked with the crispy top, but taste wise a mile behind THW, it was ok, just not as good as I was hoping. Both prawn dumplings sui mai's were generous in size filling, but the dumpling's wrapping was too thick, and the sui mai was too dense bit dried. "This was ok. The roll wasn't crunchy and was a bit chewy. There was a lot of good ingredients packed into the roll though and they were very liberal with the chilli. is a moderate price but you can get a much better roll at the new Marrickville Pork Roll place in Darling Square for just more."
