"Though it's quite a distance from where I live, it doesn't stop me from travelling here. I really like coming by this cafe Run by a Vietnamese owner his cafe offers a selection of goodies including: Home-made muffins (made daily), Banh Mi, Acai Bowls, Smoothies and other savouries as well. Espresso is definitely on offer!! Don't forget to look out for their daily specials! I felt like something refreshing for the afternoon, so I went with their traditional Acai Bowl Cool and fruity with bananas, blueberries, strawberries and coconut finished on top. This was just the thing I needed after a not-so-great breakfast Thank you so much Blackbird Espresso!"

"Extremely bad quality Indian food. Lamb was hard as boots and floating in oil and our chicken dish was blanching. I think the poppadome were sitting around for days. not somewhere we will go back, very disappointing."

"We dived into ze pickle for late lunch. eating was amazing. really delicious hamburger and the best chips I ever had. the staff were friendly and fast, but unfortunately the ambiente and the facility made for a terrible experience. on the first appeared it looks like being only a bar, but then said they served eating. the decor is dark and seems to be the worst in its moats, which generally shy. I thought it was just me, but my husband said later that he found it terrible. it's hard to insure why it's so bad. I never thought I'd be badly evaluating somewhere with such good eating, but it's what it deserves. very depressing. it does not serve...read more"

"Looking and feeling like a burger, we decided to go local and close by visiting 5 boroughs. After looking at the menu online decided, parking was easy just park in the aldi carpark at the back and walk. We ordered the 1/2 ribs, new yorker and fried chicken burger. Service was nice and friendly she looked after us really well. <br/ <br/ The ribs were spot on, tender and fall off the bone, maybe just a little extra sauce. The fried chicken burger my wife really enjoyed and the made on request changes to the burger with no fuss. The new yorker, enjoyed but not one i would order again.<br/ <br/ All in all, for a quick burger with no fuss then check this place out. I would go back again."

"3-4 yrs on and I still travel from Brisbane West to eat. Used to live in the street behind when they first opened (I miss that old house). I've basically had it all - Lamb Ala Kandar (wow), Chicken Sambal, Lamb Firdoss, Chicken Chennai, Lamb Sagwala, Chicken Ayam Madak Merah (double wow), Beef Redang, Beef Vindaloo, Goat Curry...all of them masterpieces. The spices, texture, tenderness....you get the drift.Let me state something incredibly important - the portion sizes are epic.... twice the size of anywhere else - Sitar (Albion, Coorparoo), The Spice Avenue (Birkdale), Curryville (Morningside), Grand Taj (Carindale), Taj Mahal (New Farm), Punjabi Place (West End). I've been to them all...I don't know why I bother. To the chef Mamak - its George here, listen up --- > you're going overboard. .....drop your prices or drop your portions....ppl will still come....you are seriously ridiculous some nights.PS, I use to bring them home-grown chillies....I knew he threw them in the bin thinking "what's this weird Aussie doing"....lol"
