"This beautiful little café in heart of Shropshire countryside is very inviting. Staff can't do enough for you. Lots of antiquities and used books to browse through or spend a few pence on. Delicious lunches followed by home made cakes tarts. Well worth a visit even if you aren't on a hike. Plenty of parking space for car, bike or motorbike. For evening meals you have to pre-book in advance by phone. Oh yes, they also welcome dogs at outside tables with a bowl of water.......nice touch!"

"Absolutely a must see site! Soo many planes with facts and stories to see and read dated back decades. This was our first time visit with my partner and 3 children and have been meaning to go ever since and I'm so glad I did now as I walked away with an experience I would never forget. "Popped in for a takeaway on a quiet Monday night. Very disappointing bland food. Chicken with green chilli tasteless unseasoned pieces of chicken in a boring green/brown sauce. Tarka daal was poor. No garlic cooked in ghee on the top, no coriander,no seasoning. Rice is rice but naan left a lot to be desired. Friendly staff but food standards need improving."

"I always enjoy a good takeaway, especially the Papadum’s and Chutney but I do find myself getting into a pickle trying to make the Chutney’s last! It seems that if you order 1 Papadum or 6 (as I did), you still receive 3 small pots, which is more than adequate for 1, but a real struggle once you go beyond that! I have noticed that they sometimes charge for extra chutneys when you order multiple Papadums which I think is wrong as it’s included in the price, and in fairness they always remove the charge when questioned. I just wish they’d sort this pickle out and provide the chutney as described on the menu."

"What a gem! My friend and I stumbled upon this Indian cafe whilst in Bishops Castle ready to do our touring opera show that night. Tara is an exceptional host and the food was exceptional! She is also a talented comedienne and artist! A wonderful community atmosphere, where, if you wish you can chat with everyone....which we did... Everyone then came and supported our opera that evening... proper Indian food and Tara caters for gluten free too! A very special place... we will be back there! Thank you xx"
