"I have eaten at Fat Buddies in Waynesville, the food is good, for the price there could definitely be more. I feel like the BBQ dinner plate is the size of a kids meal only difference is the extra side. I'm from Eastern NC, I am really disappointed that a NC BBQ restaurant doesn't offer Eastern NC sauce for the Pork BBQ, but they offer a Georgia Mustard Style Sauce it's very disappointing and frustrating because I feel like Fat Buddies could definitely step up they're quality of portions and create more sauces so I rate this restaurant a half star maybe even a one star very unsatisfied every time I've tried it. Definitely want go back and don't recommend it to anyone"

"This place is the best place to eat at! This is my husband and my first time eating here and had thee best experience! We had flounder coleslaw and hush puppies and fries and I couldn't finish all my meal.they have really good cobbler and ice cream too. Like every other place they too are understaffed but, they made us feel like they were happy we came. The restaurant is clean and neat. Lots of people that were first timers came to eat plus your regulars. The pictures on the wall is absolutely beautiful! It's easy to find because, it's on the main road in Maggie valley, NC area. So yes if you're hungry and want great food then the place for you is Ammons. I know I'll be back to Ammons again."

"Burgers are absolutely one of the best in my life. Fun atmosphere plenty of options on tap.The staff was extremely professional and very friendly they got one of the largest tips I've left as of lately."

"Everything you want from a casual food pizza place. We ordered a colonel and I was impressed! Crunchy crust, savory toppings, paired with local beer on design. The waitress was very nice and had all possible recommendations for our next visit, which I appreciated very much. This is not a place to go if you are looking for deconstructed pizza with expensive shrimps, a wine list or fancy cocktails. It is however where you will go if you want to stamp a menu with comfortable variety with a decent price and one every day beer. Or sweet tea! Many options. Child-friendly and family-friendly, and does not require masks at this time. Also the bathroom was super clean and stylish so additional compliments for it!"
