"We have come to Axel 's on several occasions for work-related meals, as it is close to the office and serves a variety of dishes to a variety of pallets. The restaurant is cozy and visually very pleasant. There are several outdoor areas with seating, one with wooden fireplace, and the interior is clean and organized, with several unique aesthetic touches such as a warm fireplace in the entrance and various exposed cooking elements, such as a large Rotisserie and a wood stove. The seat is comfortable and well furnished to accommodate large groups. In terms of food, there are a variety of options, with a range of starters (including a happy hour menu), various soups/salades, and many possibilities for the main course, from hand held (tacos and sandwiches) to full participants. The dishes I had or shared were always enjoyed by me and others. The service is fast, so the food is still hot when it comes to what is particularly important for the wood fired items that keep their smokey smell and taste well. The starters are somewhat small for the price, but are of high quality and are well presented. One of the highlights of the menu is the unique sauces that are offered to give them an attempt to spin on stacked items. The beverage menu is also quite extensive as they have a full bar and a number of tap beers. The standards are also available as expected, as well as some local and craft varieties. Overall, Axel 's is a great place for a group meeting or a quiet meal with a few friends. The bar also offers a welcoming environment for solo visits and the outdoor seats provide a great warm weather."

"Best lobster roll I’ve had in two summers!! Even better than the Whitehorse pub! The service was wonderful and I was not disappointed, it was everything that a lobster roll is supposed to be and more! Thank you for making my late summer early fall complete!"

"No military discount. Nice food. Clean place. Sextion opens in September 2016, but not many people drive to this side of the City Place Plaza Center. Would be better if the dirt served the honey tea. I forget the name of the Middle East. Needs wall art on these white walls"

"Figured i'd give this place a shot considering they were the only place open past 8 around here on a tuesday.. I ordered 2 wraps that were supposed to be CHICKEN cheesesteaks with EXTRA cheese and sides of honey mustard. 1, they were regular cheesesteak wraps. 2, NO cheese whatsoever in either of them. and no honey mustard that I paid for. I also asked the girl at the counter if the honey mustard was definitely in there, she said yes it is everything's in there. all around disappointed with my experience and so was the rest of my family. will not be going back and if you do end up going here, double check your food before walking out the door."
