"A great little sushi place. I just left alone and sat in the sushi bar. I usually try to test a sushi place by ala carte before returning for a grandmakase. This is actually a good place to use this strategy as they are per piece sushi (vs two per order and so you can easily try a number of fish, although of course this makes it more expensive (what you expect it is a high quality sushi place in Beverly Hills! Anyway, Sushi Sushi has passed my test that qualified it for a must-return for Omakase. I love her long cuts of fish without too much rice. What I ordered: Kanpachi, aka very young yellow tail (delicious, although comparable to other good sushi places Mirugai, aka gigantic shell (firma, chewy, nevertheless delicate and tasteful all at once Sanma, aka Japanese pike mackerel (so good that I ordered a second aji, aka Spanish mackerel (good, but paved mackerel) The couple sitting next to me ordered Grandmakase and I was drowned. Btw, there are metered street parking spaces on both sides of the road and parking nearby. I had no problem getting street parking right at the restaurant. Yay!"

"The word “trattoria” in Italian translates “an informal Italian-Stylish dining place with neighbourhood feeling and the intention to feel customers as being part of the family”. “Amici” in Italian means “Friends”. Trattoria Amici offers proportionate portions of both. We visited this surprising ice cream, next to the Hotel Beverly Terrace on the corner Doheny Drive and Santa Monica Boulevard in Beverly Hills on two ocestions within a week of each visit. Our first trip was so incredible, we had to visit the restaurant again before we write this review. As we suspected, the service, the kitchen and attention to detail were once again outstanding. Red cloth napkins and bright white tablecloths decorate the different bistro style tables both inside and on the garden terrace. Large wrought iron gates welcome you to the main entrance of the restaurant while you walk along a red carpet. A natural carved hedge surrounds the outdoor dining area and gives it a cozy and intimate feeling, while tiny white two-track lights are overhead and in the surrounding sheet. A walk into this Italian venue could not be more inviting when it tries. We immediately felt like at home when we were in this lovely neighborhood apartment. The owners make a successful attempt to create the perfect setting for an intimate festive experience. As you can see in the photos above, fresh, brightly colored flowers are placed on each table, which can not resist a romantic allure. The flickering votive candles also complement the charming ambience. Trattoria Amici offers a simple $15-corkage building for males who decide to bring their own bottles of wine to enjoy with their meal. I loved the way our waiter used the foil of the wine bottle to suspend his cork! Only a very creative little “extra” that is one of the many things that this great Italian restaurant presents to its customers. The above larger picture is our wine bottle as soon as the cork has been attached via the foil by our clever waiter. The two smaller pictures are from our table after our Vino was opened and poured and Trattoria Amici bread basket accompanied by marinated fresh tomatoes and a Cannellini Bean Dip, which is simply incredibly delicious! Let's start with soup! The delicious creamy Zuppa Di Lenticchie Pinaci is an organic lens soup with fresh julienne spinach. Catchy on the eye as well as the palate, this starter is incredibly savory and enriched with only the best ingredients. It is perfect for a cool evening or feel anytime You look like a delicious bowl with goodness! Another special soup offer was the Artichoke Puree soup above... This starter was incredible tasting and every bite contained the taste of artichoke. Very delicious! If you love Chicken Pamesan... I really mean LOVE the court, you must have it in Trattoria Amici! The Parmigiana Classica Di Pollo is a slightly baked paillard “parmigiana” with fresh mozzarella and tomato sauce. My husband loved the way the cook served this dish. The chicken is very thin, unlike other versions we enjoyed. It was a nice change with all expected taste and savory tomato sauce that could be desired. I enjoyed the Polleto Al Mattone Alla Fiamma, which is the version of half a chicken that is brewed with wild herbs and garlic, then served with hearty potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The chicken was tender, moist and well prepared. I finished the whole thing that leaves nothing on my plate! The cook was friendly enough to prepare a tasting of her calf sauce for my husband. This lucious bowl of the heavenly Bolognese convinced my husband, the Fatuccine Alla Bolognese Di Vetello (top right photo). With his homemade Fliessuccine and the old-fashioned veal sauce “Bolognese”, a satisfied smile crossed the face of my husband. A very good sign as it is quite critical for most kitchens we experience. I especially enjoyed the Lasagne Alla Piedmontese Di Tacchinella above. This homemade lasagna with a turkey ragu and tomato sauce was tasteful, tasteful and delightful at once. Did we mention how amazing Trattoria Amici is tomato sauce? In a word, it's completely skrumbling! Above was the grilled Dover Sole with seasonal vegetables and top capers a tasty and light choice and was one of the specialties for the evening. The grilled Lobster apple salad (top and bottom) was refreshing and perfect if you want something full, light and taste. For Dessert we chose two Sorbet selections. The Coconut Sorbet is offered in a genuine coconut shell! We loved this presentation! (Another “small thing” that makes such a difference in your own gastronomy in this restaurant! This sorbet is large enough to divide between two people, and the sweet anulent taste will be amazing when you try this chilled dessert. The powdered sugar and grated coconut on top was also a nice touch. In the following, the Peach Sorbet is served in a frozen hollowed fresh peach, which is then garnished with a frozen leaf of the fruit. Another brilliant presentation from the kitchen of Trattoria Amici! Another nice touch at Trattoria Amici is the freshly baked chocolate chip cookie plate, which is delivered immediately to your table to enjoy. These milkings of molten milk chocolate and sweet biscuits are dipped at the top with more chocolate and garnished with a chip of powder sugar. Just delicious! These reminded me of the baking of cookies as a child and brought back wonderful memories many years ago. No matter which attractive options from the menu you choose, you will not go wrong. In fact, you will feel a little as if you have gedified at a cozy food in Italy, and you will want to leave your experience over and over again! ESTABLISHMENT DECOR: Intimate indoor and garden terrace. Romantic and worthy of a medal for the extraordinary ambience! FOOD DRINK: Excellent, authentic, memorable kitchen that will make you more. LOCATION: Trattoria Amici is located on the side of the Beverly Terrace hotel on the corner Doheny Drive and Santa Monica Boulevard on 469 North Doheny Drive in Beverly Hills, CA 90210. Remember that reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends, due to the available space and popularity of the facility. SERVICE STAFF: Our server, Jason, was exceptional, both times we were in Trattoria Amici dined. Unmatched customer service, friendly demeanor, sincere personal service and incredible attention to detail. PREISWERT: We agree with the price class to this wonderful Italian cuisine. Cheap prices for delicious authentic Italian cuisine! CORKAGE FEE: $15 per bottle. CONTACT INFO: Telephone: (310 858-0271, Website: [here link] PARKING: Parking is available along the fence opposite the restaurant and with the Hotel Valet. INSGESAMT BILL: At our first visit on Friday night we ordered a glass of Cabernet, an Arnold Palmer, the Zuppa Di Lenticchie, the Chicken Parmigiana, the Lasagne Alla Piedmontese and the Coconut Sorbet for a total of $75.79 (including taxes). Our recent visit included a cork bottle from Pinot Noir, which we have collected for a $15-corkage fee, as well as the Fatuccine Alla Bolognese, the Polletto Al Mattone Alla Fiamma and the Peach Sorbet for a total of $66.78 (including taxes). Both phenomenal experiences worth the splurge!"

"The name Mercato di Vetro is Italian for “Glasmarkt”. The kitchen, ambience and seamless customer service are incomparable. The elegant sassy vibe with trendy contemporary ambience, which is safe for a long time to come rackets on the romantic side of the heart. Two floors of intimate seating with two full bars in the center, two open preview kitchens on the first level complete with a wood burning stove and pasta manufacturer, and a striking mix of dark tinted woods and an elegant modern motif to offer eye-catching beauty throughout the food ice cream with bursts of red and green to improve the italian inspired theme. A convenient energy fills the air as the moors are warmly welcomed when entering the front door. Once inside, dual preview kitchens offer a celebration for the eyes and a celebration for the senses where the magic of handmade pasta and pizza dough is artistic and on the display leave a attentive audience asking what they will soon be baked and delivered to waiting tables of hungry diner. Chef Danny Elmaleh’s Italian-inspired joint plates and tapas selections with pulsatingly improved Mediterranean touches turn the “wow” factor for the palate and visually stimulate the senses of anyone who is happy enough to be present in this oasis of delicious satisfaction. Well-visited servers are available to explain the well-designed menu selection for the evening or to suggest elements that you are sure to enjoy. Our server was Jay in the evening we visited, and his expertise regarding the menu led us in a direction of pure joy. General Manager, Sandro Coppola, has made a point to check with us often to ensure our greatest satisfaction. We have on the second level of the plant at a tandem stand with view to the second level bar, candlelight for two. We started with two cocktails shaken by Mercato di Vetros. The Blood Orange Martini, created with Absolut Mandarin Vodka, fresh lime juice and Serrano Chiles for an Amped Up-Kick, was surprisingly subtle in sweetness and heat, which was a delightful revelation. We enjoyed several fiery Martini spins on the traditional cocktail, but this must be by far one of our favorites if not the best we had. The taste is every bit unforgettable, but we were not with the requirement for a fire extinguisher after completion of this liberation. An upper drawer assembly right. My husband chose the Peartini, the aromas of fresh pears, Grey Goose Vodka, and a splash of cranberry. Refreshing, not too sweet and satisfying throughout the entire experience. Both are available for $15, we were satisfied with these selections. Two absolutely sensational starters we shared were the Hen Of The Woods and the Artichoke offers. The Hen Of The Woods $9) is a mushroom dish that grows in its natural habitat in clusters on the basis of trees... especially oak. Accompanied by a tasteful creamy aloli, fresh parmesan cheese and colorful cuts, this earthy taste-filled menu choice lets you over them for days. The Artichoke Starter $9) included the flavors of tahini, mild olives and lemon with tender love and care from the kitchen make these vegetables a perfect product to share or enjoy solo. For our main courses we chose the Branzino $19), which was delicately prepared with a cauliflower couscous, Libaneh, and a tasteful curry addition that this dish perfectly rounded off. The cream of the cauliflower couscous under the tasty, perfectly drilled, mildly flaky pesce was made with micro-greens for an appealing shrimp, while every bite of this delicious presentation offered an excellent balance in flavors. The Wagyu Flat-Iron Steak with $25 was marinated in a Madiera-Soy Jus with Porcini mushrooms and delicately grilled finger potatoes. I enjoyed a few full-bodied glasses from 2011 Italian courthouse Pinot Noir for $13, which complicated the hearty beef overall. When mentioning the unwritten dessert menu of the restaurant, we gave temptations. Jay recites the articles with a personal excitement as if he starved to speak only about the available items! We chose the traditional Tirimasu $10) cook that was creamy, simply sweet enough, without being overpowered, and rich enough without regretting to order it. Fluffy and tasty, this was a pleasant Italian dessert plentiful enough to appropriately share between us both. We are happy to return to Mercato di Vetro soon. In fact, I already have my eyes on a few things to try on our next visit like the Kale Prosciutto Starter, the Duk Meatballs, the Bacon Blackberry Pizza, the Beef-Cheek Ravioli, and the Donut Holes for Dessert!. ESTABLISHMENT DECOR: Mercato di Vetro will surprise your visual perception with its multicolored glass bottle displays, its two-storey dining area with spacious bars, two impressive preview kitchens and a romantic, illuminated ambience around the world. FOOD DRINK: We could have enjoyed the whole evening just pampering in tapas, but slipping into the main courses is worth the experience. We didn't have to be convinced to taste the Tirimasu restaurant for a sweet temptation after dinner! Cocktails were refreshing, uniquely designed and hand shaken by proficient mixologists, and Mercato di Vetros wine list offers delicious wines to accompany each item on the menu. LOCATION: Mercato di Vetro is located on 9077 Santa Monica Boulevard next to The Troubadour) in West Hollywood, CA 90069. COURT: Open Monday to Wednesday for business, and Sunday for dinner from 6 pm to 10 pm. The restaurant is served from 18 am to 11 pm on Thursday to Saturday. STAFF SERVICE: We had the immense joy, driven by General Manager, Sandro Coppola and our server, Jay, both superior knowledge of the facility, the menu and the history of the building. Sandros expert management of personnel and the overall flow of the company is carefully executed, and its customer service is seamless and admirable. PREISWERT: Well-priced selections of tapas-style cured meat and cheese to gourmet vegetables presentations on delicious seafood and meat products made to house pizzas and pasta dishes. Artisan cocktails and wines will quickly add to the final bill, but it is worth experiencing. CORKAGE FEE: $25 per 750m L bottle. CONTACT INFO: Telephone: 310) 859-8369, Website: [here link] PARKING: If you are happy enough to find a metered parking near the restaurant, do this without hesitation. Valet parking is available for ice cream, which is shared with parking for The Troubadour next door for $8 per vehicle. PRICING: The Peartini and Blood Orange Martinis were $15 each, while the Hen Of The Woods and the Artichoke starters were $9 each. The Branzino court came to a reasonable $19, while the Wagyu Flat Iron Steak was a solid $25, and the Tiramisu Dessert was and simply $10. We also enjoyed the Italian courthouse Pinot Noir 2011 with $13 per glass."

"$9 for a blob of latte art that we ordered when we sat down. Then realizing that there's 2 breakfast options that included coffee. We asked what happens to the previous order when our breakfast selection has coffee. Staff said it'll be included and additional latte would be a charge. We asked for black coffee at the end of the meal.. Specifically wanted to know if that was included refill or not. Staff said it would be an order. We refused and was still poured coffee. Called the staff over and asked if it was a charge, then they said not to worry. What's with the confusing service? Black coffee is like 0.25 cost, nickel and dime your guest who spends crazy amount for their stay."
