"The food is really average. Raw salmon gravlax really too salty and without taste. Sauerkraut absolutely average, with meat a little cold. Flammekuchen was good but it is not really complicated. Wine absolutely average. From the moment we got a seat to the moment we got our plates, it took them one hour. With 24 people in the restaurant! When we complained politely the waiter was rude and told us basically that we have no right to complain at rush hour, and was telling us basically the f word. 90 euros for this? A rip off. Worth noting also that you are sitting in a basement without any window and average design which looks like my garage revamped. We talked with a local later, he said "you cannit expect more in la loge". Even a sandwich would have been a better experience."

"We stopped during walking around Colmar. Place is nice, service very good (friendly and professional). We had pizzas (3 different) and crepes. Pizza was really good, same with crepes. Price reasonable, would say even I expected higher prices for such tourist jewel. At the end we paid 15 € per person including pizza and 1 drink. Recommendable."

"I had dinner at this restaurant after reading the reviews on this site . I have to say it was a disappointment, the portion were huge ,the presentation was canteen style and the food lacks imagination . This is France and food is an art . Mind you this was not a cheap place ."

"We were anticipating a nice and quiet dinner in a pretty and cosy small winstub. We were given a nice table for two in the upper floor. Half of the small space was already "occupied" by a group of about 15 American tourists. The problem was that: a. it was a very noisy and annoying group, and b. the only young lady that was serving the room was practically "absorbed" by this group. As a result we were thrown two menus on our table and we had to wait for twenty minutes to give our orders. Our food arrived without any word or question. We had to ask for salt and pepper, for bread , for water. the water arrived but no glasses on the table. Anyway it has been a rather unpleasant situation and we decided to leave as soon as we ate our food, which by the way was very good, despite our already bad mood."
