"Pinots on the Plaza! I'd previously been to Roadhouse for a tasting before the pandemic and before they expanded their space, and I really enjoyed their Pinots. There's just so much good wine in this town and not enough time! On our recent walk home from dinner on a Saturday we were thrilled to see them still open and offering wines by the glass so we popped in. There was 1 red and 1 white available for $15/glass. We opted for the luscious red, a Leras Vineyard Pinot Noir (I think this is the Pink Label bottle) and it was absolutely delicious! Fun fact: the Papapietro Perry team also makes a Leras Vineyard Pinot. Roadhouse's expanded tasting room space is light and bright with comfortable seating options, cool music-inspired art, vinyl records for playing, and vinyl records for sale! If you like Pinots and want to taste some special ones in town, do pay them a visit."

"I have been fortunate enough to have visited over 400 California wineries in the past 10 years. IMHO Manzanita Creek is THE BEST KEPT SECRET in Napa/Sonoma!!! Remember the expression....don't judge a book by it's cover? Well, there's a reason why this expression exists. The winery is located in an industrial complex and at first glance you would swear you are in the wrong place.....but do NOT let the outside appearance fool you!!! Big, lucscious wonderful wines (especially their zins). AMAZING value!!! Do not pass go...do not collect $200 just taste Manzanita Creeks wines and you will understand why I wrote this review in the first place. Enjoy!!!"

"For large parties, they always recommend a pre fixed menu. It was about $80 a person and you make your selections before your arrival. Menu: 1) Small Bites Cheese and Charcuterie platter, loved the variety for this board. Creamy and salty cheeses with cheese crackers, dried fruit and nuts. 2) Salads Chalk Hill Estate Greens, the pecorino and the citronette paired well with the greens 3) Pasta Strozzapreti with Gulf Shrimp, very lemony and fresh, I enjoyed this dish a lot. 4) Seafood Salmon. Celery root puree was yummy, enjoyed it more than the salmon. 5) Meat Cabernet Braised Short Rib. Loved the polenta and the flavors on this one. The horseradish was a nice touch. 6) Vegetables Sugar snap peas, just okay. Asparagus with vinaigrette, skippable. 7) Dessert Trio of dessert, enjoyed the Panna Cotta more than anything. The coconut ice cream was not bad. The chocolate cake was very rich and dense. For 18 people they brought about 4 plates of each item that we ordered. It was definitely more than enough food and we had so much food leftover. Service: The service was great. We had a large party and the family style was very accommodating. We had about 18 people in our party. We did not expect an automatic 25% gratuity though, so it was quite shocking. I thought usually the standard was 20%, but 25% was a bit steep. Overall, the food was just okay and for the price and gratuity we were paying, didn't feel like it was worth it. Maybe I'd come here again with a smaller party to try other dishes, but for large parties, it just wasn't for me."

"Easier access to this weingut of us101 thru windsor. take them about 10 minutes from the autobahn. at the moment to expand a garden area, so that the prospects are easily impeded and loud when they are sitting in the open. had a fantastic experience with this place 8 years back, but since under the KJ acquis was the tasting sub par. many other nearby options that have a superior experience around the same price of $70 pp. update: thanks chris! yes, we came late from sfo and it was obviously from the personal treatment that they were not satisfied with it. I did not mention the service levels I had, but just wanted to know that customers know about outdoor construction. I think that setting up of us seemed more like the punishment, out there was an existing party than we arrived. they feel free to reach, but I doubt that my understanding is changing."

"An incredible experience! I had lunch at the Bubble Lounge this past Sunday. Each course was a unique combination of tastes and textures. The chef came out an explained the inspiration behind each dish. There was a variety of cuisines you could see influences from Italian, Middle Eastern, American, French and Asian. We started with an amuse bouche of caviar with mandarin gelee and parsnip caviar paired with a bright sparkling wine. I can’t do justice to explaining the dishes but a brief summary: octopus with chili oil, risotto, a creative twist on corned beef using cabbage, paired with roasted mushroom and a ginger hollandaise, then lamb kofta and finally a childhood inspired riff on orange creamsicles. The staff was attentive and answered all my questions. I was on my own which can sometimes feel awkward but they were welcoming. Each pairing of sparkling wine was a delight. The lamb dish was paired with a pinot noir that was so smooth. Lastly, the restaurant and the surroundings are stunning. Casually elegant, modern but not imposing. Thank you for an wonderful experience!"
