"I have to absolutely disagree with the last review. Chez talal has been phenomenal from day 1. Their food is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants I've eaten in, I'm sure there are bad days and that's what the last reviewer was complaining about but hey we all have bad days, I absolutely recommend them to give it another go at it. The owner is an absolute sweetheart, she is kind and cares very much about feeding her community. I'm sure if there's a problem just reach out to the owner and she will gladly make sure you are taken care of, but I know from eating there many times that her food is tremendously delicious, may I suggest the kebeh next time it's to die for. ? keep up the great work chez talal."

"I love this place. I have been too many times to count! They are always extremely busy for lunch during the week, but they have a very organized system going and can serve you very quickly. And they do so with a smile too! Their ingredients and pita shells are always very fresh. I highly recommend this place if you want a cheap, quick, fresh "

"This place looks like any other fast food restaurant but their wraps are pretty damn tasty. It also makes a very affordable meal at less than $10 including tax. The ordering process is very similar to a subway, you choose the pita (white or brown), the veggies and the sauces to go on top. <br/ <br/ The veggies are always fresh and they will stuff plenty of them in your wrap. One thing I was disappointed about was the meat. Unlike other shawarma places where you get fresh rotisserie meat off the spit, the meat here is pre-cooked. However, when I had my souvlaki it all tasted just fine...the chicken was surprisingly moist. They have a few different sauces and those are really delicious! The no-drip wrapping for their pitas is an added bonus to prevent things from getting really messy.<br/ <br/ What's more to say, they have around 22 different options...about 3-4 of which are vegetarian. They even have breakfast pitas. Oh, and the owner is quite friendly and has a good sense of humour! This will definitely be one my top places for a quick and satisfying bite."

"I've been searching for a falafel that was as good as the one I had in New York City from a food stall that had line ups around the block. I found it and it's right here in Newmarket. The restaurant isn't fancy, but it's spotlessly clean. Service is friendly and there is an aura of pride in this place that shows in the way it's kept as well as the food. Great value for money, I'd recommend this for good quality food at a very reasonable price."

"Great selection of Pitas and definitely our choice of pita establishments due to their procedure. They toss all the ingredients in a plastic bag and mix all the ingredients to balance the sauces evenly. Not found in any other pita places that we have found"

"I love getting salads at Pita pit however, at this location there is an elderly worker every single time I ask for feta or any type of dressing she literally puts the smallest amount ever and when I ask for more, she’ll put a tiny drop more. Sometimes my salads are so dry the leaves are still dry while I’m eating it. Not sure if she does this on purpose. Im usually not picky but if I’m paying over $10 for my food i expect a reasonable amount of toppings. It’s not like I’m asking for extra I’m asking for the bare minimum. All the other workers make my food well. I’m going to stop going to this location because of this reason as she seems to be working every time I have my lunch break."
