"Hellas was my first stop on my trip to tarpon springs. excellent choice. the restaurant has an extensive menu of Greek dishes, beautifully presented for cheap trips. I enjoyed my pastitsio while my friend was burning her group sandwich. the BEST part was the service. amber ensured that we had everything we needed, recommended dishes and information about the opposite."

"Excellent food at a small locally owned deli, highly recommend! We called ahead and placed an order for some sandwiches at lunchtime. We were planning to take the food to go, but ended up eating in. There is a cute indoor eating area, feels like you're eating at a greenhouse. Also has an outdoor eating area. The falafel wrap was excellent, as well as the turkey sandwich freshly carved turkey! Very generous portions. The salami sandwich had tons of salami, asked for it to be simply a plain salami sandwich for a kid and our daughter devoured it. The babaganouse was excellent, they precut the pita for us. When we arrived we were also blown away by the display cases, tons of choices cheese, olives, pastas, desserts wish we had another meal to return but we visited on our last day. Ended up getting some devilled eggs which were excellent. Staff was very friendly. We visited on Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend and it was not crowded, so might be more of a weekday lunch place. Either way, highly recommend. Great food for affordable prices, generous portions, tons of variety. If we're in the area again, we would visit and take the food to go for an excellent picnic at a beach or park!"

"Best Souvlaki !. Huge fan of the chicken souvlaki and how George does his fries! Always, always, ALWAYS fantastic. The people who run it have fantastic attitudes and the lemon sauce they marinate the souvlaki in is to die for. Love that it has Romaine lettuce and red onions and fresh tomatoes. Will always come back, even when I don't work in Tarpon anymore."

"The gyros are always fantastic and well prepared. My son had the lamb kebobs and he said they were amazing. They also have a bakery of yummy treats. Our waiter was extremely nice. Can't forget the flaming cheese!"

"The husband and I have been waiting for the summer crowds to thin out to try Madeline’s. It was definitely worth the wait. While not exactly the shawarma we remember fondly from our years in Europe, the flavors were wonderful.I ordered the beef and the husband ordered the chicken. The shawarma came cut in half so we each tried half of each. The chicken had a nice sharp garlic kick and the beef had a great Mediterranean flavor.The restaurant is rather small but has indoor seating and a couple of outdoor bistro-style tables as well.The food took a bit to get, but we didn’t mind the wait and used the time to see the large photos on the walls."
