"Beautiful midday Sunday lunch at Balmoral Beach. Popular spot and parking at a premium when the sun shines. Found a nice little Resturant on the esplanade and was able get a table with a view outside... I should mentioned the table we wanted was for a seating of 4. I was told if 4 people came in they'd have to move us (2). :( . We ordered chicken mango salad however they were out of mango so replaced with Pear ( we were told this so we were aware). Also a Linguini Marinara.. Being an Italian Resturant I felt safe! To drink we ordered a Sparking Rose ( by the glass) and a Breganze Pino Gri. Lovely wine but not chilled enough for a warm day. The chicken pear salad was heavy on salad leaves and very light on chicken .. For $26 you would expect more thank 1/2 a beast of chicken. It was also over cooked and dry. The linguini was very tasty with a very nice sauce. Seafood was prawns, fish and 4 in-shell mussels. The mussels unfortunately only just warm. We did give...

"This family-run restaurant is a hidden gem and especially only the locals really know it here. we have been feeding here since it opened and always have good meals. our favorites are the homemade dumplings either steamed or pan roasted. we also get the hong kong style crispy green garne and the pfefferkornfilet bark. very authentic Chinese cuisine, fresh ingredients and good service."

"The piccolo was short and smooth, as there were locally roasted Colombian connection, individual arrival, individual land beans. the cakes that fill the theks at the front of the caffe are stoney and would not be made out of place in a school jersey with chocolate cracks make a occur next to broth, cupcakes and tarts."

"Another breakfast motto in sydney! have only an amazing and tasty breakfast with a spectacular view in this place. super friendly and attentive staff and quiet atmosphere exactly what we needed after crazy short week at work. eating is excellent, although it is still quite simple. coffee - one of the best in sydney! <br/>Definitely glading to come back.<br/>PS: extremely fast service, our coffee and food were ready in seconds xx"

This place was always good and so they have always gotten busy. In fact the food was good enough to warrant a 35-40 minute wait. We've had a few mediocre meals there in the past when they've been busy but this was the final straw. And this is my first restaurant review. Ever. <br>

It wasn't to be this time. After a 45 minute wait out on the street for Pad Thai, chicken and Cashew nuts, steamed rice and satay skewer entree, the order was just left on the counter. Another member of the public waiting for their takeaway came out and asked me what my name was and indeed it was mine. <br>

After getting it home the chicken skewers tasted more like curry, and it's not a good sign when you get your torch out to check the state of the meat. It was dry, tepid and gristly. The sauce tasted more curry than satay. <br>

There were practically no noodles in the pad Thai. The whole thing was greasy and tasteless. Obviously the bottom of the pan. Again loads of gristle in the meat. <br>

The chicken and cashew nuts were tasteless and probably one of the most oiliest dishes I've ever seen. A tablespoon would yield 90% oil and 10% of whatever it was supposed to be. Again cartilage and gristle. <br>

The steamed rice was good. But then I would at least expect this to be a fairly difficult dish to screw up. <br>

After arguing with my better half over who isn't going to eat the leftovers, we decided to throw it out.<br>

Won't eat there again. Save your money! Go to oodles of noodles instead!"

"A hidden gem in Mosman. Tucked away from the traffic down a quaint little lane, the cafe has both indoor and outdoor areas. I come here every few weeks, and after trying all the other brunch spots in the area, can comfortably say this is the best. The service is fast, staff are friendly and it has a very relaxed vibe. Popular for mum groups, too, as its away from cars and has toys for the kids. Food is excellent; never had something I didn't like. Particularly delicious is the AFR, BLAT and the frappes. Great little place, moderate pricing (somewhat low for Mosman for two breakfast dishes and two coffees) and an all-day menu. Definitely worth going to!"
