"Beautiful place for a brunch with attentive and professional service. some parts are on the not so amply side. we had oysters and many moules et frites with Italian sparkling very tasty. beyond the restaurants there are other casual places on the market that specialize in seafood and Japanese cuisine, more reasons, come back and try more."

"- Very nice looking building- Lovely service (the service was so friendly that we ordered another round of beers)- Good schnitzel- Also has a section where you can sit in a outdoorish :) section with fondue on the tables.- If you are looking for a place to watch sports this restaurant has 5-6 screens.If I go back to Zurich again I would definitely visit this place."

"Ich habe während einer Dienstreise abends in diesem Restaurant gespeist. Das Wetter war so gut, dass ich dabei draußen im Garten essen konnte.Zum Essen selbst hatte ich mir ein traditionelles Schweizer Cordon Bleu mit Pommes bestellt. Dazu eine Stange Bier. Für alles zusammen inkl. Trinkgeld habe ich 30,00 Schweizer Franken bezahlt. Das ist vollkommen o.k. Das Essen selbst war auch lecker. Die Pommes war in frischem Fett gebacken und das Cordon Bleu war lecker gefüllt und sehr schmackhaft. Das ganze wurde relativ zügig und freundlich serviert. Hier komme ich gerne wieder hin."

"The meat of Bärengasse is undoubtedly goodIs it exceptionally good ? Is it extraordinarily well cooked ?Is there any originality in the overall cuisine ?Is there anything awesome (sauces, fries, service...) ?No, no, no, no.Nothing you could do by yourself, buying a good meat and cooking it on your grill at home.But the prices are for sure extremely high. Add to that a highly crowded place which does not facilitate discussions...all in all, a place in which you do not feel that you really ger quality for money spent. Much better alternatives (e.g. August) exist in Zürich."

"Metzgerhalle I stayed at the Swissotel in Oerlikon on a Sunday before my trip to elsewhere. Tired up with paying the high priced meals here. So I decided to give this Resturant a try. The Resturant is not easy to find for a tourist like...myself, no sign of the Resturant whatsoever. The window has a big sticker, written “Eichhof”. I walked past here maybe 7 times. On a quick search of trip advisor, there are not many to choose from in this area. I tried to stay away from pizza and pasta. So naturally my last meal here has to be Swiss. Decoration: Very underrated Swiss Resturant with a touch of a home feel. You will see the locals eating here. English is of no problem. My dishes were: 1. Chicken Schnitzel with pasta and salad 2. Sliced veal with Potato cake (rosti)"
