"We came here based off some reviews about the snorkelling and they were spot on. Stopped here in June 2017 off a cruise ship. We didn't want to do the regular excursions and wanted to do our own thing so we decided to try Money Bar. Upon first glance we kind of thought "well this is not what we expected" but we tried it out anyway and were glad we did! The snorkelling here is amazing, its right on the reef and my son and I saw a ton of cool fish, rays, lobster, crabs, giant sea snails you name it. We spent the majority of our time in the water as it was perfect temperature and shallow enough to stand but deep enough to swim. While we were snorkelling the manager Angel, took my daughter (with my wife permission) onto the dock with a bunch of bread so she could feed the fish. He did this multiple times and she had a blast ( she's only 4). We ordered some drinks and a fruit platter, everything was really well priced. Its definitely a hidden gem. Cab ride from the cruise port was about 11 usd each way and for 2 beers a fruit platter and a frozen mint lemonade it was only 13 usd. it was awesome and great for us because we could stay as long as we wanted to. Some cruise passengers were paying 35 us per person for a 1.5 hr snorkelling excursion to the same spot we were at! This is definitely the spot to go to if you are a family looking to not spend crazy amounts of money and have a really great day swimming and checking out the fish!"

"We were looking for something different and a guy on the street recommended this place as clean, fresh and good prices. The music was so loud that the waiter did not here my husband's order so we were all eating waiting for his plate when we found out it was not coming. The Mexican platter was not as advertised on the menu. When the bill came it was 1600 pesos or $99US. After leaving the restaurant my husband was sick."

"5 of us ate here for lunch after we dive some banks across the street. We all have one of their special drinks (4 of us cocktails and 1 a smoothie) and all were really delicious... and big! We started with Ceviche and Calamari and both were so good!! Each one of us has another thing for lunch and everyone is happy. The Mol Enchiladas were spectacular... I tried some of my men. Very friendly service. Our taxi driver had pointed this to us on our first day and it just happened that we dive across the street on the shore. A happy “unfall” that was also delicious to eat. Would definitely return and would recommend it. Not the cheapest place we ate, but very high-quality food."

"Excellent seafood, great atmosphere by one of the best beaches in Cozumel The seafood is very fresh and the cooking simple yet excellent. Laidback atmosphere either to have a meal, to expend the day by the beach or to try the surfing boards on offer. 20 minute cab ride from downtown but definitely worth the trip. Waiters are kind and very helpful Do not miss it if you are in Cozumel"

"Visited with another couple after this restaurant recommended by a friend. my spouse had a dish with meat, sosse and tweeping with French french french french french french. I had the fish soup with many garnel and fishing. very tasty. the couple with us. the Peruvian potato salad, as they are vegetarian. the dish was slices of kartoffel with a sauce and slices of hard boiled egg. spoke with the owner and he told us how the restaurant and its background came to be. it also offers Peruvian table covers for sale. Look at this, you won't be disappointed."

"We were the only ones at the restaurant (which we know now was moved from the museum. It's lovely beautiful outdoor eating area. We had done night dive and wanted to either take a cab or walk somewhere close...we decided to give this a...try and were so happy we did. The margaritas are bar none the BEST on the island. Plus 2x1! Lots of seafood choices my husband had the octopus and I had fish vera cruz and were so pleased. The salsas were very good too. And while not a huge deal after a night dive you're STARVING the bread was to die for. : They do prefer cash so be aware! Thanks for a lovely night."
