"Total miss in all aspects, from service to poor quality of sushi. No one greeted nor seated us. Sushi was subpar and flavorless; rice was noticeably too warm and sticky. I might go as far as saying this is the worst sushi I have ever had. Atmosphere and presentation, with the little plastic cups for the soy sauce, was tacky. All around disappointing experience. I have great appreciation for and experience in tasting various cuisines, including Japanese. If you are unable to execute an authentic sushi experience, you shouldn’t adopt it, rock n roll or not."

"My first visit after COVID and I got struck by sticker shock. Cheese sandwich, little fries, regular fountain drink plus tax and tip what is the tip for? $17.70! I believe that is too expensive for a fast food, no meat option.Yep, 3 stars from a vegetarian. Fries are good and you don't get an evil eye when you order a veggie or cheese sandwich. The toppings, including fresh jalapenos !! are of good quality and the sandwich with everything but meat is satisfying and very messy.I could have given 4 stars but I always feel a little greasy when I am eating here. No, no, everything is very clean but somehow the food feels fatty. Start making some garden patties, offer smaller portions of fries for reduced prices, include a salad into your menu :"

"That was my second visit. the first was last year to lunch. this time it was dinner. I don't think they have any work on my last visit. my man and I arrived at the restaurant. the restaurant was not busy. No one worked in the host area except on waitress who spoke with customers before us and tried to sit them and took care of their tables at the same time. I saw no manager or someone can help this poor lady until more customers went to the restaurant. the type that did not work on the floor came out and began to take names. we had to wait 5 to 10 minutes to take a place. for eating I didn't think it was great! I don't think I'll be back to the restaurant soon. the service is okay because on Friday night not many server work. our server had to record customers and wait for their tables. overall I was not impressed!"

"Double cheeseburger was so big couldn't hardly get my mouth around it to take a bite. The loaded cheese extremely tasty. Philly cheesesteak was very well done with just to write about the spices. I highly recommend Hotspot Hoover."

"Lotta food for the money. I 've passed this place lots of times and today I finally stopped in for lunch around 1:30. There were only a few other people in there; I 'm guessing I missed the lunch rush. The waitress was quick to drop off a menu and take my drink order but when she brought refills (which she did every time the glass was empty--I never had to wait) I think she brought me regular coke instead of diet coke. I 'm not a huge fan of fried pickles but I ordered a half order just to try something different and I 'm glad I did. They were very good. I don 't know if they make the ranch dressing in house or if it is delivered pre-made but it doesn 't taste like any I 've had anywhere else. VERY tasty! I For lunch I ordered 10 wings. I substituted fries for the chips that come with them for a dollar more. The fries were a tad over done, a little too crisp but not too bad. <br/ <br/ The wings were ginormous! I 've had wings at several other places but compared to the wings at Jefferson 's other places get their wings from canaries. I 've never seen wings so big. My only complaint was the sauce was dripping off of them. I prefer my wings not be so 'gloppy ' but that 's more a question of personal taste. I know some people like them wetter than others. The buffalo flavor was just right, not too hot, not to boring. <br/ <br/ Other reviews for this place talk about the different kinds of oysters available. I wouldn 't know about that--you couldn 't pay me to eat an oyster. But when it comes to wings I think i have a new favorite place. <br/ <br/ they also have daily specials--sixty cent wings, seventy-five cent oysters, shrimp, philly sandwiches. With all the TVs and the high ceilings I imagine it can get pretty loud when Alabama or Auburn is playing. If it 's game night don 't go here for quiet conversation, go here for great tasting wings and fried pickles."
