"Absolutely lovely! And so easy thanks to the 2hrs free Woolworths parking next door. Easy to drive there for lunch, quick service, easy to eat, back to work! Salads awesome! All kinds of Greek food delicious! Well balanced, not too salty, beautifully presented by very friendly staff. Great coffee too. Didn’t take photos too yum!"

"What a cute name is Bo Thai (bowtie)! After finding out the connection it has to Home in the city (my absolute favourite for thai in Sydney!) there was no stopping me in checking out this little place on the North Shore.<br>

Overall it didn’t quite meet the level of Home, however the food was still pretty damn good. And on top of that, the staff at Bo are so lovely and hard working. Really great service which is one up Home and actually pretty hard to come by with the city staff. Bo was ridiculously busy, mainly with the continuous stream of takeaway/delivery orders, yet the staff managed to speed through it all with a smile on their face.<br>

Having a craving for som tam but also fearing the level of spiciness I had to go through, it was actually quite a relief that it wasn’t too bad in heat. Still hot but manageable. Felt the serving was a little small for the price though. However, would still recommend as it was tasty.<br>

"Love the decor and the set up, warm and cozy.<br>
Had the large pho, for $16 was pricey, and a little light on the toppings, broth was okay, too heavy on the star anise, and definitely too sweet.<br>

Service was pretty good, the wait staff were polite and attentive."

"Great casual joint, very good prices that matched the neighbourhood vibe and quality of food ordered (not fine dining quality, but pretty fresh ingredients served.up). Had very fresh sushi, sashimi and their sashimi Kaiser Don with a generous dollop of ground yama (taro). They have an outdoor seating area so it should be dog friendly. Highly recommend!"

"As a born and bred Westie I thoroughly believe that we are not only connoisseurs of the pub feed but also pioneers of what is known as a "schnitty special". <br>

Now as I was walking through Crows Nest one thing caught my eye: "$25 Schnitzel Special" and even though I had only eaten lunch maybe 2 hours ago I had to take this offer up. <br>
<br>
Upon wandering inside the stoned crow one thing was evident - this wasn't your average pub. This was a restaurant with a bar. No pokie room, no tab or designated smoking area - Alarm bells were ringing. <br>
<br>
I ordered the said special from a bearded bartender who then proceeded to tell me sauce was extra which of course I had to oblige. I opted for chips and salad rather than the steamed veggies and mash as well as a schooner of Peroni - impressive as it was on tap.<br>
<br>
The schnitzel itself appeared to be an entire chicken breast, butterflied, flattened, breaded and of course deep-fried. The breading was great and cajun seasoned? the chicken though was overcooked and dry. <br>
<br>
Overall I spent just under $40: Schnitzel special + gravy + beer.<br>
<br>
Nice try lower north shore but the "schnitty special" is a culinary institution you are not going to re-invent anytime soon."

"Thai food in a comfortable environment at the beginning of the dining strip on the crownest. The food was decent, but probably towards the milder end. We had the grilled chicken (Gai Yang), the red duck curry with Litschi and the vegetable and tofu basil-foreheadry. Nothing in a good way or bad."
