"The bar looks good but most of the menu is standard fried food (French Fries, fried onions, fried cheese, fried chicken, fried everything) Barely any vegetarian/ healthy options. Beer selection is good. Service is ok. Overall nice bar just need to get less greasy food options and it will be great."

" Hanaichi is one of the best Japanese restaurants for me. Catering to the mid level market, there will never be a shortage of Japanese nationals dining here, at all hours! Exceptional flavors at attractive prices for the usual Japanese comfort food favorites such as their ramen, tempura and even their steaks with friendly service. Highly Recommended it! "

"Yoree Korean Dining is one of my favorite restaurants in Korea. We always go to the BGC branch.
Each table has a charcoal grill so everything is freshly cooked and hot.

My husband, my children and I each ordered the Lunch B course, which costs P898 per person, at least 2 orders. It's an 8-course lunch that starts with juk, a Korean congee, and 3 starters. Juk is a bit like congee, but finer. The 3 starters consisted of cucumber, kimchi and muchim. But they gave us 4 starters one of which was sweet savory eggplant.

Then we each got gyeranjjim, a light and super fluffy steamed egg that was served in a hot stone bowl. It is exquisite! It's a great accompaniment to all of the tasty dishes that would follow.

We all had a serving of Haemul Japchae (Seafood Japchae). Very tasty and cooked in parchment paper ... I don't know how that affects the taste but it certainly adds to the presentation points. You don't skimp on seafood.

Then we had Yangneom Galbi, marinated USDA prime short rib, served with prawns. According to the menu there is octopus but beef and shrimp were all we got.

One thing I love about Yoree is that the quality of the meat is always top notch. The beef we had was no exception - extremely tender, flavorful, and simply delicious.

We also had Chadol Duinjang Jjigae, a USDA beef tenderloin, tofu, and vegetable stew in a hot pot. It's a spicy soup that is to Koreans what Sinigang is to Filipinos (but it's not spicy). My husband and kids thought it was too spicy, but I just thought it was okay.

We were supposed to be getting mul naengmyon, or buckwheat noodles with beef broth, but it wasn't available so they replaced it with bibimbap. Neither of us has anything against it, because Yorees bibimbap is super tasty. Also, I think a rice dish like bibimbap goes better with grilled meat than pasta.

Our last hearty dish was samgyeopsal, pork belly. You will be served fried kimchi. Again really first class meat. I should mention that you can have unlimited green salads with your meal.

The last course is dessert and we all have patbingsu. The milky shaved ice is so fine that it has a powdery texture. It is topped with sweet ripe mango cubes, red bean paste, and candied walnuts. It's sooo good. Deliciously milky with a hint of sweetness, tartness and crunch.

My husband, the kids, and I all agree that Yoree Korean Dining is one of the best places to get Korean food here in Metro Manila. While it is way more expensive than the usual Korean BBQ buffets, there is no comparison when it comes to food quality. You get nothing less than premium meat when you dine at the Yoree. They serve all Korean dishes to boot. Some of the cheap places mix non-Korean dishes into their menus and spreads. No short cuts here.

The service is nice and efficient. They grill and cut the meat for you. All you have to do is get involved! It doesn't get as smoky as most other places either. While your clothes inevitably have the very slight smell of crickets, they won't be overwhelming. Ordering menus is the way to go as it is more economical and you can try more dishes."

"Nice service and affordable food. While it isn't as premium or "rich" as other Japanese places I've tried, I believe that for their price and location, it's a nice place to eat in when craving for Japanese around the area. Place is a bit dim and do wish serving time was a bit quicker, as it took half an hour to serve just two yakitori sticks.

issagv.blogspot.com"

"I was invited for sneak preview yesterday for the #unagifestival. It was my first time eating unagi (eel) and it was surprisingly good ???? Interior was gorgeous and spacious.

Everything that was served to us tasted good! Specially the Unagi Tempura! I guess we Filipinos really love our deep fried tempura ???? Their Uzaku was really refreshing and surprisingly I loved the combination of unagi and cucumber (I normally don't eat them). Oh and did you know that the unagi or eel, was butchered the same day? Yup talk about freshness!

Visit Izakaya Sensu at the Ground floor of Net Park in BGC! Their unagi menu will be available until September! :)"

"Homey feeling upon entering, with a promise of great food.

Quotes up on the wall, with Christian songs playing in the background.

The food was alright -- won't really crave for anything that I ate there. Fairly priced too, compared to other options around Burgos Circle."
