"After just returning from Vietnam this month, a friend and I went to Viet L'Amour on Saturday night. The restaurant was full and the French influence was evident from the décor and furniture. We decided on the banquet for 2 ($75 total) and we were not disappointed. This restaurant may not be the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Adelaide but we didn't have any issues with the food or the service and actually had a really pleasant night."

"At first the reception and the restaurant was a bit cold. We were asked if we had a reservation and the response when we said 'no', was a little terse. Anyway, we were accommodated and the evening went up from there. The waiter guided us through the menu and the portion sizes. The wine list was class with Rockford and First Drop on there. The food arrived in a short period of time (which I like) and was absolutely sensational. I am so happy to have discovered this fine Greek restaurant being so close to us. The restaurant ended up being packed. A great sign. I had the Slow Cooked Lamb Shoulder. It took me back 20 years to dining at my favourite Greek restaurant in Sydney - Perama. It reminded me of their Lamb Skaras which I couldn't get past on their menu. <br>
We will be back and perhaps make a reservation next time."

"Friends brought us to this lovely place as our first experience with Vietnamese cuisine. We've long enjoyed Thai, Chinese and other Asian cuisine and this is similar. The art decor style of the elegant and classy dining room is something that takes you in, upon entering. Every single aspect of service was fantastic and timely. The food was very tasty and well presented and everything was enjoyed and finished. We used our entertainment book voucher and will be back to use next years too and maybe more often."
