"The service was very friendly and quick. We both had the ribeye and salad bar and shared a fried calamari appetizer. The calamari was cooked well and wasn't chewy. The garlic aoli was tasty, but the marinara sauce was not that good. The salad bar is well stocked and fresh. Both steaks were cooked perfectly. They were tender and very tasty. They were as good as any steak in a more expensive restaurant. We will definitely eat here again."

"What a wonderful place to have breakfast every morning. Everyone is so pleasant, so helpful and so accommodating. Every year when we come down to Surf City, NC for vacation, we come back to City Cafe and love it. All the waitresses are very pleasant (especially Deanna). They all work together to make it an enjoyable experience. The food is delicious and the grilled biscuits are the very best. Pam and Roy from Delaware"
