"Shimuja is the best! I’ve been coming here for years and in my opinion no other ramen spot can compare to its flavor (yes I have tried other places). The ramen never fails. I recommend trying their fried rice, salmon onigiri and chicken bao buns for other side dishes. All the staff is really friendly and always gives great service every time I’m there. Thanks for the quality ramen and food Shimuja ?"

"VEGAN OPTIONS This place was found on DoorDash and I was not disappointed! I recommend trying if you're in the neighborhood. Have 1 Veggie Ramen No Egg, 1 Miso Vegan Ramen and Edamame of course all vegan. The Miso Vegan Ramen was our favorite, tasty broth and vegan meat. The Veggie Ramen No Egg was also beautiful, you choose your own veg. You can also choose your spice level for both dishes. The Edamame was beautiful too! If you get it for Take Away or delivery, I suggest reheating the broth when it comes before adding the noodles and veg. HOT-Ramen are best And now I learn that there is a whole art to eat ramen, one I have not yet mastered. I need more practice"

"*UPDATE (7.31.20): Their current online menu is inaccurate the cauliflower is no longer vegan! I think they must have changed their vegan ramen since the last reviews; mine was spicy and full of flavor. The vegan options are limited though. But if you need something quick and easy, I say give it a try!"

"Happy to stop by here for lunch! As a frequent visitor to Japan, I really recommend their buckwheat noodles! Although some little thing about other dishes that could be improved but overall worth to visit..!Noodles were really really outstanding, chewy but not soggy! And a ince I ordered Ten Zaru, the set came with shrimps tempura. Each of them was huge, crispy, and juicy inside..! AMAZING!For appetizer, I got sliced duck. It was tasty although slightly expensive.Last, matcha crème brûlée as dessert. I was a little bit sad because the burnt sugar didn’t go over all surface (as you may see in the photo, it only covered the middle part. The main cream part was good, a nice twist using matcha to change this European dessert.?Highly recommend to people who would like to have a meal alone. The space is cozy and chill even for single visitors. Would like to visit again for rice dishes..!"
