"BEST seafood chowder ever! A filling meal with 6-8 scallops, 4 large shrimp, chunks of lobster and fish as well as tender little potatoes. Served with a cheese biscuit as good as the ones my Nana makes.Great place for scallops too with most scallop dishes available grilled or fried. We had the bacon wrapped scallops, scallop kabob (a bit heavy on the red and green peppers but lots of scallops too), and the pan-fried in garlic butter scallop dinner (served with rice, fries or potatoes and veggies).My one non-seafood loving kid had a delicious homemade burger and fries, which he devoured.It's a popular place but we got a table quickly at 5:15pm. Very friendly service :) If you have to wait for a table have a stroll around the gift shop and note that a purchase at the gift shops gives you 10% off your meal (and vice versa). There's a big grassy field and band shelter right behind the restaurant (at harbour front) for kids to burn off some energy before or after a meal."

"We stopped at the last restaurant on the strip "The Captains Cabin" , which was the only establishment which had empty seats, many in fact! After eating here I know why!Word of advice STAY CLEAR! I ordered the lobster wrap $15.99 which had 6 or 7 microscopic pieces of lobster in it the rest lettuce! Oh I forgot it came with mashed potatoes, which of course were "instant"! My wife ordered the Captains Table special Greek salad which arrived with absolutely no dressing! The poor waitress who was new was very nice. Very disappointed!"

"Excellent food. Excellent service. No gf menu, but waitress was happy to say what coukd are made gf. She also said if I saw something else on the menu that I want them to put me as well as possible. She was clear that the rice was not gf because of the wort, and frits are in a common frit. She recommended the baked potato as they are individually packed in tinfoil. I want to emphase that she only told me when she had a Gf menu!"

"I had the scallops that had 3 ways they served scallops! The breaded was deep fried as they should been with the breading coated! They were rubbery! The seared scollops which should be golden brown were black! The bacon wrapped scallops were too rubbery! All signs of over cooked! Close eye shows that these were frozen and commercial processed, since they were all the same size! None of the item were hot, at best was warm, including the mash potatoes! The carrots were too warm! I arrived just after the restaurant opened! This plate was $30.00 plus tax ! So I do not recommend the scallops at all at this restaurant, when they are situated near the well known Digby scallops ! The picture will tell 1000 words!"

"Stopped here for lunch so glad we did because the people were friendly and the food was delicious! Had Digby scallops for appetizer and Green curry with shrimp and glass noodles. Curry was really outstanding! So many wonderful flavors and just the right amount of heat. They were busy so it took a while but it was worth the wait!!"
